The customer started texting us at 9:30 about the vehicle and asked if we would take 5,000 cash for it. I didn't respond as I was spending time with my family. We talked and came up with the price of 5,200 granted his offer was before even looking at the vehicle in person his offers were all based off of online pictures and the ad. I texted him this morning at 8:45 this morning and told him that the gentleman that had previously had the vehicle inspected was coming to purchase it Saturday at 5,500 dollars so I gave the gentleman every chance to meet the other offer. An offer is merely and offer until a person gives "consideration" money to validate the offer. We get thousands of offers that people don't end up buying the car and many of them don't even show up after they have made an offer. And in this case we took a higher offer from someone who had already looked at the vehicle. He eventually showed around 11 and said the bumper looked as if it was 30 years old and was given multiple chances to drive the vehicle in which he refused.
Hi in regards to this complaint we already sent one over but would like to add to it that the consumer never purchased the vehicle. there was no transaction. this as the first time he had even ever seen it. There was never a deal made only offers.
