A little over a month ago I contacted Vanguard Van Lines regarding a cross country move from California to PennsylvaniaI was told they had trucks going back and forth across the country regularly and that it usually takes 10-business days for delivery, but could take up to business daysTheir price was reasonable as we did not have that much stuff, and we have moved across the country numerous times with little or no issuesIn the interim, my father-in-law, who has been battling cancer, passed away as I was driving across the country This added more stress to the already stressful situation of movingWe agreed on a pick up time which worked out well and I had everything boxed up and ready to go The movers were set to arrive between 5-8pm on Friday, August 17, Due to some traffic, they said they might be a little late as they were coming from the San Francisco Bay AreaThey eventually arrived at 11:30pm due to one of their crew having an asthma attack and ending u

Upon delivery of my furniture from Vanguard Van Lines (AKA Traditional Van Lines), I noted that my mahogany end-table was missing I asked where was my end table? The movers had placed an OAK table amidst my furnishings and I stated, that is NOT my end-table So, they took it back to the truck and looked for my end-table, it was NOT there They called the warehouse and informed the warehouse manager that the end-table was NOT on the truck He stated he would look for it So, I get the phone number of the Claims Department and was informed to call them on Monday
