Attn: [redacted] In response to the letter dated May 15, regarding complaint ID # [redacted] , Please accept the following information in response on behalf of Vangura surfacing Products, IncI would like to first clarify, or counter, a few of the details the Mr [redacted] included in his complaint Mr [redacted] states that he had a Vangura countertop installed in January/February of this year In fact the Vangura countertop was shipped to the Authorized Dealer that sold Mr [redacted] his countertop on March 1, Mr [redacted] states in his complaint that he purchased his countertop on 2/1/and contacted our company for his first complaint on 2/15/ Again, the countertop was shipped to the Authorized Dealer on 3/1/Vangura Surfacing Products, Inchas been manufacturing Laminate countertops for over years We produce in excess of 12,laminate countertops each year We have extensive quality control procedures that are followed with each countertop that is produced Our products are sold through Authorized Dealers, [redacted] ’ [redacted] is the one in this case, and we are recognized by those dealers to produce the highest quality countertops sold anywhereIn this specific case, the countertop was delivered to [redacted] ’ [redacted] without defect Vangura surfacing Products cannot be held responsible for the condition of the countertop beyond the point of delivery and acceptance by the Authorized Dealer We have no knowledge of who handled the product from that point Any challenges being experienced by Mr [redacted] should be addressed with whom he purchased the countertop fromI have attached photos of the issue described by Mr [redacted] and can assure you with 100% certainty that the visual challenges being experienced by Mr [redacted] did not exist when the countertop was delivered on March 1st Sincerely, Robert V*** VP Sales & Marketing Vangura Surfacing Products, Inc [redacted] [redacted]

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I appreciate the business clarifying the delivery was later, and the countertop newer, than I had recalledI was going from memory without the benefit of records.Regardless of when the countertop was installed, or how many years Vangura has been producing countertops, the fact is that the countertop shows marks that I have never seen on a countertopThe marks were not there when installed but appeared during USEThe countertop has not been abused in any fashion, and simple use should not produce such visible marksI have never seen a countertop exhibit marks like this.If Vangura is, indeed, proud of their workmanship I would hope they would take an issue like this seriously and attempt to identify the causeInstead, without even bothering to come out to see the issue or inspect the laminate for defects, they simply blame their distributorThis is not what I would expect from a company who touts their workmanship and quality in advertisementsIn fact, I could see the potential for their advertising to be considered misleading and fraudulent if this is how they actually respond to issues with their product. I would like Vangura to have a representative respond, assess the issue, and respond accordinglyThe quality of their product is not as advertised and is inferiorThe issue has nothing to do with abuse or misuse by anyone.Regards,*** ***
