After a phone call from Vanheat Services Ltd. we agreed to have them come and inspect our furnace and two fireplaces. During the furnace inspection the technician indicated the gas valve was not functioning properly, the furnace was running hot and the valve needed replacement. He just happened to have one in his truck! I was not convinced so I declined the repair. To be on the safe side I called another company to come and have a look. *** In short, Vanheat was using cold calls to drum up business and using their inspections to generate unneeded repairs. If I could leave a rating of zero stars I would.

Dear sir, thanks for sharing your feedback, we are sorry your experience did not match your expectation,
,but one of the test our technicians all have to do, is Gas pressure check and clocking the furnace, and they have to do it by a digital manometer and equipment, the number on the indicator must get compared with number on the Furnace rate plate, if those number(manometer indicator number and the number on the furnace ) are match, everything is fine and if they are not match we have problem at that area, while you were writing the complain , you didn't say anything about that the technicians showed you the manometer indicator number and the rate plate number to compare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and the gas valve outlet pressure was more than it was supposed to be ;according to the furnace rate plate,
Plus as we never know what type of Furnace or boiler or... we will face at, we have some basic parts available in our technicians vehicle, that's saving time for customers and technicians, I don't think this is a wrong thing,
Not necessarily all companies have digital equipment , and you had been explained the numbers and their definition by our technician, compare to the furnace rate plate.
By the way, we still sorry to hear your complain, we never want to loose a customer and we hope you give us an other chance to come and recheck and reservice your heating unit next year, with no cost
plus as long as you are not happy , please contact us, and we will return your service charge fees too.

I have had 3 calls over the last 3 years from this company. I have told them on 2 previous ocassions that I am on the DNCL and don't call me again.
This year I again asked why they are calling me as I am on the DNCL and have told you on 2 previous call not to call me again. I get the response that I must have fallen through the cracks and there is never a supervisor that you can talk to.

we are so so sorry to bother you by calling your home, once per year,, this is all automatic computer that all does refresh our missed number once per year, but we have been registered by NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST, # of 305....., and your number shouldn't inter into our system, !
but happened, it was not under our control. we didn't do that on purpose
again we are sorry, and if you like, you can send us your number in private to : ***@*** to delete it from our list as soon as possible and return to you shortly.
we are looking forward to hearing from you soon.
More over we are a very good standing company in our business, and as the dialing was done by automatic system,
so Erase your 1 star review. if you would please,
