Vanishing Veins Reviews (4)

I am writing in regards to Complaint No [redacted] ( [redacted] ***), and the disputed $patient balance that she had on her account To explain briefly, our office “Vanishing Veins and Vivesse” has an employee referral program which grants our employees a $gift card for any client/patient that they refer to us for treatmentOnce the patient/client becomes established with us, we will document the referral information on the company’s spreadsheetThis information is to include 1)The patients name, 2)The date of the patients appointment and 3)Which employee referred the patient Once all the loops are closed, we will then provide the employee with their gift card The problem here was that there was no documentation of the patients mentioned in the complaint nor was there any referral source listed(Please note due to HIPAA full names were not given or exchanged in any correspondence)The spreadsheet made no mention of [redacted] ’s name or the clients she referredTherefore there was no way to determine at the time of [redacted] ’s check out the validity of the gift cards when the referral spread sheet check was done Upon receiving this complaint, DrGreenwald personally went to our storage unit (we have transitioned to electronic medical records and no longer have paper charts on hand this is what took the most time) and reviewed each chartUpon review she noted that of the charts did make mention of [redacted] ’s name in them as a referral, and the 4th chart she remembered was a neighbor of some sort of [redacted] DrGreenwald then determined that [redacted] did receive the gift cards out of good faith and our referral programAs of Monday 8/29/ the $has been reapplied to [redacted] account and she does not owe that moneyDrGreenwald personally talked to [redacted] and made good of the situation As a Company dedicated to our patients and employees satisfaction we are sure that this outcome will please everyonePlease reach out to me with any questions or concerns you may have in the future.Thank You, [redacted] Practice ManagerVanishing Veins & Vivesse###-###-####+

Dishonest practicesEvery step of the way the receptionists and the nurse were stating that they participate in our health insurance planThe nurse actually explicitly said that follow up could be done over the phone or email, but since our health insurance covers it, we should come back in for an appointmentShe even went and "checked" on that - she was gone for good minutes, so one would think she actually looked into itCome to find out, the doctor is not even in-network for our insuranceWhile I understand that it is also the patient's responsibility to check into insurance matters, we felt like the office grossly misrepresented their level of confidence on the insurance coverageWhen I called to cancel the appointment, the receptionist kept reassuring me that the doctor is in-network! She laughed at me when I said it's not true - and then put me on hold for a whileShe came back saying that yeah they are out of network but that's our problem

I am writing in regards to Complaint No. [redacted] ( [redacted]), and the disputed $200.00 patient balance that she had on her account.  To explain briefly, our office “Vanishing Veins and Vivesse” has an employee referral program...

which grants our employees a $50 gift card for any client/patient that they refer to us for treatment. Once the patient/client becomes established with us, we will document the referral information on the company’s spreadsheet. This information is to include 1). The patients name, 2). The date of the patients appointment and 3). Which employee referred the patient.  Once all the loops are closed, we will then provide the employee with their gift card.         The problem here was that there was no documentation of the 4 patients mentioned in the complaint nor was there any referral source listed. (Please note due to HIPAA full names were not given or exchanged in any correspondence). The spreadsheet made no mention of [redacted]’s name or the clients she referred. Therefore there was no way to determine at the time of [redacted]’s check out the validity of the gift cards when the referral  spread sheet check was done.        Upon receiving this complaint, Dr. Greenwald personally went to our storage unit (we have transitioned to electronic medical records and no longer have paper charts on hand this is what took the most time) and reviewed each chart. Upon review she noted that 3 of the charts did make mention of [redacted]’s name in them as a referral, and the 4th chart she remembered was a neighbor of some sort of [redacted] Dr. Greenwald then determined that [redacted] did receive the gift cards out of good faith and our referral program. As of Monday 8/29/16  the $200.00 has been reapplied to [redacted] account and she does not owe that money. Dr. Greenwald personally talked to [redacted] and made good of the situation.     As a Company dedicated to our patients and employees satisfaction we are sure that this outcome will please everyone. Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns you may have in the  future.Thank You,[redacted]Practice ManagerVanishing Veins & Vivesse###-###-####+
