I have received the complaint regarding the client [redacted] She was service in my salon twice once for crochet next for box braids. Client requested medium box braids waist length. Before servicing Client. Client was informed that some braids may slip, due to her hair being short. Client... agreed to proceed with service. I informed Client that I did not mind free of charge fixing those that would slip she would just need to simply contact me so we can set up a time for her to come in. Client was serviced on May 10th,2017. Client contacted me on Thursday May 18th in regards to a few Braids slipping. I offered for her to come in anytime after 5:30pm in which she did not show or respond. I than received a text message on Sunday May 21st in regards to more braids slipping. I than informed again that we can set up a day and time. Also she complained about size I informed her that any questions about size could have been discussed before or during service. Client was able to take multiple breaks in between me completing the service client did not complain about size at all. Also our salon uses a rubber band method for box braids. This method is used so that there is no pulling on the hair when braids are pulled up into ponytails or buns. It relieves the hair of any tension. We rubberband the whole head before the procedure is started. Client did not ask nor question the procedure at all. We have been using this procedure on adults and kids for the last 4 yrs. when service was complete client looked in mirror had no complaints. Payment was not taking until services was completed in which Client walked over to front desk and agreed to make payment. Client was offered to come in to replace braids. Client stated she did not want to return to salon. I am a very easy going person if client would have stayed in communication we could have came up with a resolution, but Client did not want to move forward. Also client stated that braids started slipping four days later but contacted me 8 days later. If Client would have agreed to schedule to come in at a time convenient for her we could have came up with a resolution even if we had to change style. Client refused. If you have any questions or concerns you can contact me at [redacted] .Thanks DanielleVanity allureAbove is the exact response sent to [redacted] . Client did not respond and [redacted] closed the case.
