The customer came to us needing repairs for a honda prelude which they just bought, they were looking to get repairs done so they could curb the vehicle for saleWe asked what their budget was in order to fix itThey told me that they
wanted to spend as little as possible in order to sell the carWe advised them it could be a number of issuesSince they were not wanting to invest a lot of money, we started with basic tune up to see if improvement was noticedThe car ran better but still lacked the power the customer was seekingWithout taking in any payments we agreed to further investigate and could the balance shaft bely was brokenWe recommended to the customer that all of the timing components needed to be replaced, customer refused to add on the necessary parts for proper repairthe customer came in picked it up their vehicle and was satisfied with the repair and payed their billThey called a hour later stating that the car made a popping noise and stopped runningWe paid a tow truck to go and picked up the car and upon further inspection, one of the timing components that we recommended be replace had broken and caused further damageWe gave them an estimate to repair the said damage but they refused and took vehicle elsewhereThey have since stopped payment on agreed services and we also have paperwork

When I brought my vehicle to Vanny auto the reason was for loss of power the car did not even have enough power to get on the highway it would not go over RPMSI told *** that I wanted it fixed and that it was my work vehicle so it was very important that I got the car back asapWhen I was asked the "budget" question I thought it was a little ridiculous and my response was that I just wanted the car fixedThe first time they called me and stated that my vehicle was done they said that all I needed was a tune upI went to pick up my car and it was doing the exact same thing no power and could not get the car over RPMSFor the merchant to state that my car was running better is absurd its either running or its not and I would not consider a car to be running better if it still will not go over RPMSAfter taking the car for a test drive with *** it was agreed on that the car still was not running rightAt this point it was agreed that they would look further into it the problemAfter their 2nd attempt I thought that they had fixed my car and had no problem paying for the serviceHowever shortly after I left my car completely quit running not even with in an hour after leaving their shopI called Vanny auto and they said they would send someone out to look at my carHe sent *** and another man out they decided to have my vehicle towedNot once did I ask to have it towed I assumed that they had it towed and they were admitting faultWhy else would you tow my vehicle at your expense unless you believed that your work was done faulty? *** even made the statement that he was the one that worked on it and would make things right.At this point I was exhausted and felt out of options because my car did not even turn overI had already paid them $and my car was worse off than when I had brought it in to them initiallyI tried several times to contact them I have phone records of the calls that I madeThe merchant did not respond to my calls and when I did talk to them the kept saying that they hadn't got to my vehicle yetNot once did they produce an estimate or tell me what was actually wrong with my vehicleAll that was said was that *** believed that the valves were bentI was beyond frustrated and very upset I felt as if I was out $and they were not eve making an attempt to fix my car after it was their faultI had my car picked up because I was done dealing with them they are not a reputable businessI talked with a couple other mechanic shops and they agreed to look at my vehicleUpon inspection the 2nd mechanic stated that the timing was done incorrectly and that is why the valves bent resulting in more work than the car is worthThe mechanic has also agreed to provide me with a statement.I paid for a service that was not delivered! I also have contradictory statements from Vanny auto the first is my paid invoice with my attached credit card receiptsThe invoice states that the timing was done as well as the balance shaft beltI remember having a specific conversation with *** where he said my car was running like a prelude should be and that the car was pretty much brand new now because of the work they had doneI also have a voice mail recording from *** stating that my car was "running like a prelude should be." When my car was picked *** gave my boyfriend paperwork stating that the timing was never done because the customer refused it? However on my original invoice with the attached credit card payments it states that it was replaced? the two statements contradict each other and prove that Vanny Auto engages in shady business practices
