Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I find this response curious I identified the property and the issues that were flagged by the company and inquired as to a timeline for repair As I did this the employee whom I spoke with (***) became belligerent with me and insisted that he be talked to "like a man" I simply had some very basic questions that I wanted answered and instead I received hostilityHanging up on customers with legitimate questions seems to be a poor business practice to me I had hoped that someone who had some professionalism would contact me so that we could attempt to resolve these issues I'm still waiting for that Regards, [redacted]

We currently do not have any written record of *** *** as a previous customer and/or recipient of a transferred warranty. The manner in which *** *** attempted to extrapolate service from our company, prior to making claims with the Revdex.com cannot be tolerated. Our policy is to provide each person in contact with our company an insightful and open channel of communicationHowever, we cannot succumb to belligerence from *** *** whom now claims to be duped by our response of his intolerable behavior during his initial contact with Vantage Foundation Repair
Client’s whom hire Vantage Foundation Repair are required to acknowledge and accept terms and conditions of the given agreement. Of which, defects of exterior and interior wall finishes, flooring, framing etcare not warranted and/or covered within the scope of any foundation work. Furthermore, any documented recipient of a transferred warranty agrees to the same terms and conditions of the original agreement
In conclusion, Vantage Foundation Repair does not have any written record of *** *** as a previous customer and/or recipient of a transferred warranty. *** *** assumes Vantage Foundation Repair is responsible for something other than the work agreed upon with the previous owner. Vantage Foundation Repair will continue to bridge the gap with *** *** until such time an understanding has been made

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  I find this response curious.  I identified the property and the issues that were flagged by the company and inquired as to a timeline for repair.  As I did this the employee whom I spoke with ([redacted]) became belligerent with me and insisted that he be talked to "like a man".  I simply had some very basic questions that I wanted answered and instead I received hostility. Hanging up on customers with legitimate questions seems to be a poor business practice to me.  I had hoped that someone who had some professionalism would contact me so that we could attempt to resolve these issues.  I'm still waiting for that.
Regards,

Warranty Time Line & Events [redacted], Owner Original Work Completed:  March 2013 5-7-15 [redacted] called office for warranty evaluation, scheduled date of assessment 5-17-15 5-21-15 [redacted] thinks front of house is sinking.  Elevation survey was completed and discussed.  We informed [redacted]...

the elevation difference from when he purchased the house in May of 2014 to May of 2015 did not change significantly.  We reminded [redacted], he purchased the house with existing differences in elevations and the elevation survey did not render any action. 10-13-16 Per [redacted], He continues to think front of house is sinking.  [redacted] describes areas of concern to be the following: Elevation survey completed and discussed.  Previous elevations from 5-21-15 presented and discussed in reference to elevation survey completed 10-13-16.  Elevation survey proved to show rear aft and rear right portions of structure to have subsidence from May of 2015 to October 2016. Upon discussion of the differences in elevation surveys and taking note of the interior and exterior stress, we asked [redacted] if he was having problems with the rear right exterior door.  [redacted] informed us that the rear right door was replaced approximately six months prior to 10-13-16. We recommended [redacted] have the aft portions of the structure secured with underpinning to re-support the applicable aft areas.  [redacted] refused to acknowledge the existing differences in elevations for the aft portions of the structure and was persistent it was the front of the house sinking. [redacted] informed me he had 2 other companies review his house and both companies are telling him the foundation was sinking in front. We asked [redacted] if he had any elevation data from the other two companies.  [redacted] explained the first guy just looked down the brick line.  The second company took elevations but did not support an elevation survey. We asked [redacted] if the other companies had the opportunity to review our previous elevation survey of when the job was completed in March of 2013.  [redacted] said no. [redacted] asked if he could take a picture of my hand drawing with notes of both May 2015 and October 2016 elevations.  We declined, informing him our company policy of only sending docs via email or mail.  We further explained our outstanding reputation and if in fact the front of the house required work we would graciously provide any such warranty work.  [redacted] did not trust our answer and continued to tell us the front of the house was sinking. We recommended [redacted] acquire a third party engineer to assess our data and render his/her opinion.  We explained other foundation repair contractors will not be the best candidate for assimilating data. Upon leaving the property, [redacted] said he is going to call another foundation contractor or contact his lawyer.  We suggested he contact a third party engineer.  We confirmed again, all acquired data would be sent to him via email or mail. 10-15-16 We sent [redacted] an email with all previous elevation surveys, the warranty transfer sheet and the applicable terms and conditions.  Within the email we recommended [redacted] have a static sewage test performed to prove absence of leaks. 10-24-16 [redacted] called into our office with notification he had once again, for the third time, summoned a foundation contractor to review his house.  The contractor was named RAM JACK.  [redacted] explained RAM JACK found a difference of two inches and the front of the house was sinking. We asked if he had acquired an engineer assessment.  [redacted] confirmed he did not. We asked [redacted] if he received our email with the elevations survey history.  [redacted] confirmed he did. We asked [redacted] how we can be of service.  “I have a lifetime warranty and I want you to fix it” We declined the offer and explained again, how a third party engineer would be best suited to review the data and the existing differences in the areas in which we worked on did not render any warranty work under the existing terms and conditions. [redacted] said he would now just have to get a lawyer. 10-26-16 We receive a nasty gram from [redacted] via Revdex.com. We submit time line.

As of September 16, 2014, we received the necessary warranty transfer documents with acceptance of the terms and conditions.  We will continue to have open lines of communication with [redacted] until we have resolution.
