I will NEVER return to them and will warn my friends and family to stay away. [redacted] (owner) seems like a nice guy and is easy to talk to, but avoided contact with me for updates on my car. [redacted] (previously [redacted] the "receptionist") is as rude as can be. She never smiles, sighs a lot, and generally treats everyone who walks in as if they are stupid. Between dealing with these two AND the long wait with no updates and several incidents through the course of a little over a year, I would not recommend anyone to this shop. I will warn friends and family to stay away from here at all cost. I originally visited this shop as recommended by a friend to fix my transmission in my 1995 Honda [redacted] It took 6 months to get it fixed with NO update unless I called the shop and eventually they got to where they would not pick up the phone and I physically had to go there to get an answer even though [redacted] appeared to be at the desk all day. The worst out of all "incidents" throughout the course of using them was after waiting 6 months for my transmission, it started slipping again within 3 weeks. I took it back and it was fixed within another 3 weeks. Then 6 months later the transmission blew again. The only reason I kept taking it back to [redacted] at Premier Imports is because he is the one who originally worked on it, so I felt he was responsible and should make it right. After it blew for the 2nd time, it remained on their lot for 3 and ½ months with, again, no updates. Every time we called, we got the run around. [redacted] would always put me on hold and eventually come back to say they're having a hard time finding parts. On one call, she flat out hung up on me once I told her who I was. Out of suspicion, I looked them up online and found out one of their employees [redacted] was there "souping" up his car and even posted pictures of his car in the back of the shop. This made me feel as if they did not care about their customers, but rather putting more work into unnecessary modifications to their own personal vehicles. After dealing with so much headache with them and getting my finances straight, I decided it was time to give up on my car and just tow it away, have it scraped, and invest in a new car. Even though I mostly cleaned out my car before leaving it at Premier Imports, I wanted to go back and make sure I didn't miss anything before I had it towed. I went with my mother and we ran into [redacted] outside and told him our recent decision. He showed us where the car was and left us alone to get what we needed and even stated he would try to find someone who might be interested in it for parts. I found my car parked on the hill in the back and all the cars parked there (except my car) had busted windows, missing parts, and generally appeared vandalized. I get to my car and of course, it's locked (as it should be). I unlock it with my key to only find a mostly empty bottle of Brandy sitting in the driver's seat, all my information (car insurance, repairs, etc) pulled out of the glove compartment laying on the passenger seat, and half my CD collection missing. Knowing that at most mechanics, they are not responsible for stolen items and such, I didn't have much of an issue with my CDs as I did that it just simply appeared someone had a party in my car with liquor and then decided to go through all my information and/or see what other valuables I might have. My mother approached [redacted] about the liquor bottle and came back to me saying[redacted] told her it was a joke. I went to [redacted] myself and asked why it was a joke to her. She explained that it was a misunderstanding and what was actually said is that they (I'm assuming her and mechanics) had seen it there after I dropped it off. [redacted] continued to say that they were "joking" to each other after I called to check on my car one day to call me back and tell me that I left my liquor in my car and to see if I wanted to come get it. I told [redacted] that the bottle was definitely NOT mine and asked how professional she thought she looked by admitting to a customer, like myself, that her and other employees are "joking" about their customers when they are not around. She responded with explaining how their cars get broken into all the time and that usually, it's car batteries that get stolen. She then told me to take a look at where my car was and how all the windows are broken on the cars surrounding mine. I asked why she didn't contact me if this was a problem and maybe alert me to come check out my car in case it had been broken into. Her response was re-explaining how cars get broken into all the time there, but then added that they might have 15 to 20 cars get broken into and that they just simply do not have time to call the owners of those vehicles every time that it happens. During this conversation, I saw [redacted] look at us from around a corner and then continue walking until he was out the door and driving away.

I'm am very pleased with Premier Imports! I can ALWAYS trust [redacted] to tell me exactly what's wrong with my car. And he's very reasonable with his prices!! I've been going to him for quite a few years and have never had any issues with the repairs done to my car or the employees. Before [redacted] started working there it was a bit harder to get updates on my vehicle due to the fact [redacted] didn't have a receptionist, but since then every time I call she always keeps me updated, and if she doesn't have an answer right then she'll let me know within a couple hours. It's a lot easier to speak with her to get scheduled, or if I have a quick question and [redacted] isn't able to get to the phone she helps find the answer. A very helpful young [redacted] other mechanic ([redacted]) is extremely helpful as well. The crew knows their stuff!! I would definitely tell anyone to go to Premier Imports for all your Honda & Acura needs.
