I am rejecting this response because:Unfortunately for [redacted] you can't just rewrite history as you see fit when you improperly charge someone and owe them money . It is 2017 and everything has a paper trail. Basically, his entire response is untruthful and misleading. - I have never received a refund for the $800+ of sales tax that was improperly charged to me- When I received his final invoice I disputed his unauthorized charges via email and he failed to respond for over 2 weeks. - He finally agreed to partially reduce my invoice but not until February. His reduction was unsatisfactory given his service he claimed to provide and billing he sent me. - In February, I asked him why he had charged me sales tax on a non-taxable service and he claimed it was proper. He later admitted he was wrong. - I have been asking for my refund since 2/28/17 and have received nothing to date. - His claims I haven't paid my invoices are illogical and hold no merit when I have a negative balance for the improper sales tax charges. In hindsight, I should have withheld even more funds since he is unwilling to give a proper refund. I imagine I am not the only customer he owes improperly collected sales tax to.

The original estimate for this customer mistakenly had taxes included the customer late in the job pointed this out to me I've been credited all the taxes back to the customer. There were additional charges incurred at the end of this customers remodel with all surprise charges the customer...
was not happy and the customer refuse to pay the additional charges I reduced some of the charges with the hopes that the customer would pay the invoice The customer still did not pay the invoice after 30 days of the job being complete the customers discounts were removed I was being very patient with this customer as he never paid the final invoice and has been making small monthly payments It appears that the customer simply ran out of money and was unable to finish paying his ticket the last payment I received was on January 27th for $555.81 Without including late fees there is a $211.45 balance due on this job
