First, we apologize for all of the difficulties you have had in this highly unusual experience We certainly expect our clients to have a much easier time using our services, and hold ourselves to a higher standard than what you described While it doesn't excuse the troubles you had, this test was far more complex than typical relationship testing, which required communications that may or may not have been provided to or understood completely among all the parties that were being tested While certain tests are very straightforward and require very little background information (e.g., a paternity test), other relationship tests (such as half-sibling tests) can require the parties to provide information about their biological status that is relied upon to generate the analysis This process is crucial, so that the assumptions used in the analysis of the relationship are accurate There seems to have been some communication breakdowns in this case which involved multiple parties in multiple states across the USA These breakdowns were ultimately resolvedWhile we apologize for the length of time it took to get a conclusive analysis generated, we ultimately provided the legal, conclusive results that can hold up in court In the end, we're sorry it was not as smooth as it should have been and that the communication among all parties should have been better

Drug tests fall into two categories: negative and non-negative Negative screens typically report back in business dayHowever, non-negatives (which doesn't mean that it is automatically positive) take longer The reason non-negatives takes longer is because the lab subjects the specimen to a GC/MS confirmation test - that is the state of the art Following a GC/MS confirmation, which can take days or more per drug to be confirmed, the doctor (MRO) reviews the caseThe employee then has the right to present any medications he or she might be taking to the doctor, who will then determine if the final result is negative or positiveIn rare cases, if a person has multiple drugs in their system, whether legal or illegal, confirmation testing takes an extended amount of time This is not a delay nor is it an error - in fact, it is a gold standard process, a process that ensures the company and the employee are both protected Health Street only works with [redacted] certified laboratories that perform drug testing to the highest credentialed standards in the USAWe understand that clients don't always understand the intricacies of the process, and therefore, we make every effort to educate them properly as to what to expectWe apologize if the expectations this client had were not in line with the lab testing that we perform

We are sorry to hear that you were less than satisfied with Health Street's response to your allegations that a positive [redacted] test was inaccurateThe test, like all Health Street tests, was done under chain of custody procedures which ensures the specimen remains with the paperwork signed by the client at the time of specimen collection, and sent to a nationally certified laboratory (LabCorp, in this case) for testing Non-negative specimens are subjected to GC/MS confirmation testing at the lab, and then submitted to a doctor, known as a medical review officer, for expert review The client then has an opportunity to discuss the results of the test with the doctor before he/she releases the report, and to explain any medications that they might be taking that would affect the outcome of the test All of these procedures were conducted in the test you are referencing, including: a lab with the highest levels of national certification, a GC/MS confirmation (the gold standard), and a physician Medical Review Officer We must stand by the results of such a test It is, of course, your prerogative to get a second test, or to challenge the results. As you can imagine, many people who test positive for drugs claim that they have never used themWe don't judge any client one way or the other We simply must stand by our belief in the integrity of the certification and testing process unless there is some indication that something went wrong, which in this case, there was none We would love to offer people a second test at no additional charge, or even offer a refund if the second test comes out different However, because the body is constantly metabolizing drugs and disposing of them, it is entirely possible that a second test could out negative even if the person actually used drugs and tested positive on the first test, simply because more time has passed Additionally, you indicate that you later obtained blood tests, but blood tests don't reflect nearly the retrospective window of drug use that a hair test provides, so a negative blood test doesn't mean that a prior hair test should automatically have the same result.I want to be clear that we aren't accusing you of using drugs, we are simply reporting the results of the test you took and attesting to the integrity of the process, based on our reviewI would encourage you to research more about hair drug testing and learn about the pros and cons from a scientific standpoint

***,I am sorry you felt you were misled, that certainly wasn't our intention The second payment of $was set to charge your card automatically on the day of the appointment, but is fully refundable since you didn't show up(Our customer service center wasn't made aware of the missed
appt, that's why we charged the card, but not to worry, it is easily refunded)I already refunded the money, and that should hit your bank account in a max of 3-business days The initial deposit that you placed to hold the appointment is still active Although you didn't show up, we don't charge anything to change the appointment, and we'll keep the deposit on your account for as long as you need to reschedule that appointment We will not charge you anything more, of course, until you come in for the appt.I hope this resolves the matter. Thanks,Jared

my results were obviously swapped in the process since you said I was 4 times the limit and one week later I had negative results.   I offered to immediately take a new test with you and you declined....

I disagree with all response you have given to me I instantly asked for a second test at no charge or to be refunded if I paid for a second test and it came out negative and both were denied by Health Street. I immediately went to my doctor and not only had blood work done but had a new hair follicle test done which was negative between my results from your test and my results from the second test there was one week..   during that time I called your office at least 10 times I emailed you trying to speak to a manager no one ever email me back and there was never a manager on site when I called nor could anyone tell me when there would be one there I could speak to. As all humans make mistakes it is clear from my second hair follicle test which was also done through psychemedics that there was an error in either the collection process ordering the chain of custody. I expect a full refund or I will dispute the charge with my credit card company. What a scam.

I openly receive your response to my complaint. However, no matter how difficult you make this process sound, you hold your business out to be one that addresses these issues. If in fact the miscommunication had happened once during this entire process I can understand that, but that's not the case at all. On multiple occasions your people either misunderstood our communication or ignored it all together.
Your comment that ultimately all the answers were obtained for our inquiry, is true but those answers did not come for your company at all. The information actually came from your vendor that did the testing.  In fact, your employees try to keep me from communicating with your vendor when in fact that's the only way I got the information we were looking for.I definitely get the impression from your email that you plan on doing nothing to satisfy us at this point. That's unfortunate, but perhaps the reality of the situation. All I can say is going forward if we ever need services from your company we will find a competitor that can deliver the services that they promise. In addition, I find it very interesting how your company can obtain an A+ rating with the Revdex.com. I know nothing about the process of obtaining that kind of rating but certainly based on our experience that whole process is in question as far as I'm concerned.

Unfortunately, a positive result on one test followed by a negative test on another test using a different specimen and/or a different lab, or simply the same exact specimen with the same exact lab, does not mean the first test was wrong or "obviously swapped".  Each test stands on its own merits.  We don't decline to allow people to re-take tests, however, it is not our policy to offer refunds or free re-takes on positive drug tests.
