It took 2 weeks to get an estimate to repair a wall clock. The bid was $225 which I thought approached the value of the clock. I then brought the clock home, gave it a shot of WD-40 and it has been running accurately since. A rip-off attempt or a mistake? Either is egregiously unprofessional.
