I brought my 2014 [redacted] into this dealership for its recommended oil change. I was told that my vehicle would only accept full synthetic oil and that anything else would void the warranty. Both the owner's manual and my previous dealer stated that the recommended oil was conventional and not synthetic for my engine. This service department told me that because conventional oil was in my car the warranty was now void. I contacted Chrysler corporate and they confirmed this was false. This dealership uses scare tactics and threatens that your warranty will be voided in order to upsell services to customers. In addition to this they did not perform any of the updates to my PCM/TCM that were available through a Rapid Response Transmittal TSB.
