Hi Ms***-I am so sorry you have had a negative experience at our hospital I really wish you would have asked to talk to me about it before writing negative social reviews and contacting the Revdex.com So, rather than talking about this with you personally, which I prefer, I am having to respond in this format[redacted] did come in for boarding with us on August 8, She received an Felv, FVRCP (year), and a bordetella vaccine She received the year FVRCP vaccine because that is our hospital protocol and what is recommended in the industry for cats We do not provide a one year vaccine for FVRCP I apologize if the tech told you it would be a one year vaccine I will correct the misinformation with this employee[redacted] stayed in our separate room for feline boarders It is a separate room and the cages are across the room from the door She was in a cage that could be reached from ground level The cages that are feet high are not used for pets and are only used for storage I need to remind you that we are a veterinary hospital with many patients Our feline boarders are isolated as much as possible from the other pets in the hospital, but complete isolation is impractical in a hospital setting. On August 9, 2017, [redacted] had a vomiting episode and we tried to call you at the emergency number you left on the boarding authorization You did not answer the phone, so we left a message On August 10, we started an appetite stimulant and an anti-nausea medication to calm her stomach down and increase her eating We did not hear back from you, so we started the medication in order to properly care for the well-being of [redacted] and make sure that her health was taken care of by our medical staff The notes indicate that she was eating once daily, but we wanted to see if she could eat a little more After hours on the medications, she was doing much better and we stopped the medications The doctor did not charge you an exam for the medical care that we provided We only charged you for the hours of medications. It is completely in our particular setting to keep cats in a cage while boarding We do this for the safety of the pet staying with us Cats are very territorial and can fight each other easily if left in an open environment where they have access to each other We are not a cageless boarding facility and we did not imply that we ever offered such a service Also, concerning the shedding, boarding can be very stressful and animals tend to shed when stressed This is absolutely normal Cats are very connected to their environment When the environment is changed, they sometimes can become stressed This can cause them to shed and even stop eating or vomitAs far as the sneezing is concerned, I noticed that [redacted] was seen on November 1, for the same symptom of coughing The doctor, at that time, wanted to rule out asthma, upper respiratory infection, or heart worm infection You declined the tests to rule these out and decided to go with symptomatic treatment When you called after taking [redacted] home from boarding, we would have gladly seen her at no charge for the exam to rule out any infection that she may have caught while boarding or if she may have asthma or one of the possible diagnoses from the November visit However, you declined to come in for the exam.Again, I wish you would have asked to speak to me and I would have personally taken care of this for you and facilitate an appointment for our doctor to see *** I hope this answers your questions If I have left anything unanswered, please do not hesitate to call me However, the charges will remain due to the fact that there was no wrong doing in the manner in which [redacted] was treated We did everything according to protocol and even took care of [redacted] medically without charging an exam feeSincerely, [redacted] , RVTHospital Manager [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Hi Ms. [redacted]-I am so sorry you have had a negative experience at our hospital.  I really wish you would have asked to talk to me about it before writing negative social reviews and contacting the Revdex.com.  So, rather than talking about this with you personally, which I prefer, I am having to...

respond in this format.[redacted] did come in for boarding with us on August 8, 2017.  She received an Felv, FVRCP (3 year), and a bordetella vaccine.  She received the 3 year FVRCP vaccine because that is our hospital protocol and what is recommended in the industry for cats.  We do not provide a one year vaccine for FVRCP.  I apologize if the tech told you it would be a one year vaccine.  I will correct the misinformation with this employee.[redacted] stayed in our separate room for feline boarders.  It is a separate room and the cages are across the room from the door.  She was in a cage that could be reached from ground level.  The cages that are 6 feet high are not used for pets and are only used for storage.  I need to remind you that we are a veterinary hospital with many patients.  Our feline boarders are isolated as much as possible from the other pets in the hospital, but complete isolation is impractical in a hospital setting. On August 9, 2017, [redacted] had a vomiting episode and we tried to call you at the emergency number you left on the boarding authorization.  You did not answer the phone, so we left a message.  On August 10, 2017 we started an appetite stimulant and an anti-nausea medication to calm her stomach down and increase her eating.  We did not hear back from you, so we started the medication in order to properly care for the well-being of [redacted] and make sure that her health was taken care of by our medical staff.  The notes indicate that she was eating once daily, but we wanted to see if she could eat a little more.  After 24 hours on the medications, she was doing much better and we stopped the medications.  The doctor did not charge you an exam for the medical care that we provided.  We only charged you for the 24 hours of medications. It is completely normal in our particular setting to keep cats in a cage while boarding.  We do this for the safety of the pet staying with us.  Cats are very territorial and can fight each other easily if left in an open environment where they have access to each other.  We are not a cageless boarding facility and we did not imply that we ever offered such a service.  Also, concerning the shedding, boarding can be very stressful and animals tend to shed when stressed.  This is absolutely normal.  Cats are very connected to their environment.  When the environment is changed, they sometimes can become stressed.  This can cause them to shed and even stop eating or vomit. As far as the sneezing is concerned, I noticed that [redacted] was seen on November 1, 2016 for the same symptom of coughing.  The doctor, at that time, wanted to rule out asthma, upper respiratory infection, or heart worm infection.  You declined the tests to rule these out and decided to go with symptomatic treatment.  When you called after taking [redacted] home from boarding, we would have gladly seen her at no charge for the exam to rule out any infection that she may have caught while boarding or if she may have asthma or one of the possible diagnoses from the November visit.  However, you declined to come in for the exam.Again, I wish you would have asked to speak to me and I would have personally taken care of this for you and facilitate an appointment for our doctor to see [redacted].  I hope this answers your questions.  If I have left anything unanswered, please do not hesitate to call me.  However, the charges will remain due to the fact that there was no wrong doing in the manner in which [redacted] was treated.  We did everything according to protocol and even took care of [redacted] medically without charging an exam fee. Sincerely, [redacted], RVTHospital Manager[redacted]

The issue with [redacted] has been resolved. We of coarse honored the discount coupon and [redacted] has paid her outstanding balance in full.
