Veatch Consulting Services Reviews (6)

This is in response to the complaint filed by *** *** on 12-17-The accusations that she has made are and slanderousWhat *** *** did not mention is that she grossly breached our legal binding contract by speaking to parties not a part of the contract and revealing trade
secretsOur attorneys have documented proof of thisBecause of her actions alone the contract was breached causing any further work in the contract to be voided without any refundBecause she is being held accountable for her actions she is trying to cause my company harm by filing these accusationsAgain, because *** ***'s own actions breached the contract she was the direct cause of the contract to be voided with no refundDue to this, I do not agree to her resolution and ask that this complaint be deleted from my file
Sincerely,
*** ***

What are the "trade secrets" that was discussed with parties?
You and your staff continued not to complete tasks outlined in the contractI requested we amicably go our separate ways several times because you and your staff could not provide consultant services, including insurance credentialing, which was outlined in the agreementHowever, you refused on several occasions including twice in writing, clearly stating "there is no refund"This was long before any attorneys were involved
You did not complete the job, provided terrible services when you did which cost me lots of money and stress, and also kept my $45,you requested prior to rendering of services
Thank you,

Initial Business Response /* *** ** *** */
In response to complaint made against *** Consulting and after careful review, we dispute this claim in its entiretyAttached is the actual signed contract between *** Consulting and Dr***You will see that the contract is very
clear and in layman's terms
The contract outlining the refund reads: "At the close of this agreement, if Company has not achieved the established financial goal of $400,000-$500,set together by Client and Company, Company will continue to work with Client for reasonable times needed to accomplish said goals at no charge or Company will offer to pay 110% of the contract fee backThis provision will be effective so long as all of Company's guidance, recommendations, and timelines are adhered to."
*** Consulting did offer to stay on free of charge for Dr*** to achieve his goalThis guarantee is only effective if the Dr*** followed all of our guidance, recommendations, and timelinesIn fact Dr*** did not follow everything we advised him on we have months of supporting documents outlining thisAs an example we advised him prior to opening his office to put up building signage so patients can see his office from the streetHe did not do this until months after he opened for businessDr*** claims we would take care of the marketing and he would not have toPer the contract it reads, "Company will help develop the logo, business cards, stationary, marketing brochure, and a page website for Client using companies marketing designer" - we did do all of this
*** Consulting honored every aspect of the signed contract with Dr***He is upset that we will not give him a refundBut per the contract the guarantee is only valid if he adheres to all of our recommendationsAdditionally, the guarantee clause states we will offer to stay on working with him free of charge or give a refund*** consulting chose to stay on and work with the himFinally, his claim that our support was poor- is just with upset feelings because I am holding him accountable per the contract
I ask that the Revdex.com dismiss this complaint and remove it from my record
Sincerely,

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* *** ** *** */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I did everything he said and much moreI signed every contract he put in front of me, contractor, equipment, print, etcI did not negotiate anythingThe only time I started to question his decisions was the sign because the sign company was too slow and I wanted to do it faster and with a more reasonable priceMr*** is using that only time as an excuse to say I didn't follow all his guidelines
The first reason the sign was not ready because Mr*** didn't plan it ahead of time and when we contacted the sign company they said it would take a long time to complete it and they wanted a hefty priceThen I decided to find another sign company
Mr*** had also promised he would watch my budget to make sure I was not overspending but he did not make the slightest effortAnother example was the IT Company that he introducedHe simply said he compared two quotes and one is cheaperHe didn't even look at them to see the one that is cheaper is actually more expensive because it includes less equipment
Any expert in the industry can tell that having that sign earlier would not make such a big difference with the banner being there
Having said all that, even If we add four months to the first year, I was nowhere close to the financial goalThe financial goal promised was $400,production but my production was only $
The consultant who was supposed to visit our office regularly started canceling his trips for several personal reasons and every time he came he was in a rush to get outHe did not do any marketing to help the business after the initial mailers sent out and we didn't get enough responseI really do not understand what the $budget was spent on
He used a vague contract and big sales pitch with emphasizing on the big production numbers and guaranteed refund but then refused the refundI have already heard from many dentists who had a similar experience with himJust look at his website and see his main emphasis is on the guaranteed result and 110% refund
He even threatened to sue me for defamation if I tell anyone about my experience
He said he offered to work with me longerWhy would I accept his offer when it was proven to me that his work is not actually any work and is not helpful at all? I would only accept %refund as he advertised
Final Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2015/06/20) */
Regarding Dr*** latest response, please read the contractIt is very clear what he agreed to and what *** Consulting agreed to provide*** Consulting provided and completed all aspects of the contractIf Dr*** followed the contract as stated he would have received a refundBut he did not and it is clearly documented
Dr*** has created a blog site to tarnish my company nameIn the blog site he explains what his view I but not the whole storyHe never explains the contract nor the fact he did not abide by the contract to earn the guaranteed refundThis is another example of Dr*** trying to tarnish my companies reputation
Concerning my email, that is correctDr*** threatened to slander my company and my response was accurate as any other business would respondAdditionally, here you can see he breached the contract again by sharing contract information with out permission
This is a case of a company with a year clean record who honors their contract but because the client didn't follow each aspect of the contract and is not getting his way- he is trying to very hard to hurt our reputationIf he wasn't he would have never created a blog to tarnish our name nor would he continue this complaint with the Revdex.com
I ask again this case be dismissed and removed from my record
Final Consumer Response /* *** *** *** */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This is *** consulting business model:
1- have a friend in *** of *** who recommends him to young dentists wanting to apply for a loan to start a new practice
2- promise big production number and advertising his claim on his website and dental meetings, telling the new naive dentist that he will be very successful and may even make 500,to 1000,the first year
5- if the result is poor and dentist is not happy at the beginning, tell him he just needs to wait longer
6- at the end of the year simply refuse the refund and claim it was because the dentist didn't follow their guidelines
7- telling the dentist he has no right to tell anybody about his experience per contract
8- dentists generally care a lot about their reputation and they are afraid if he does something for retaliation so he can get away with it
I decided to write a weblog and let everybody know about it so the other dentists do not make the same mistakeI have not yet heard of a single dentist getting the refund but I have heard stories very similar to mine that they were not happy with his service and the poor result but were refused any refundI also posted my story in dentaltown, an online dental communityI received several massages from people who went through the the same experience:
- Unrealistic promises and misleading advertising
- Inadequate support
- Not honoring the promised refund
- Warning unhappy dentist not to share his experience with others
Complaint Response Date bumped because: Holiday

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:I agree MrV*** has stated the correct date on the contractBut no real service was performed other than phone a few conversationsNone of the services listed on the contract was ever performedWe are trying to set up a new office but I later decided to purchase an old office insteadThe deposit money I put down was for starting a new business as is the contractThus Veatch consulting’s service will not be needed We never even started to do the market research work for the new office Nothing was ever done by his company when I asked for refundAnd he did threaten me on the phone, saying he will sue me for not finishing the contractIf I hired a contractor to build a house and before the house was ever built, is it wrong to stop the decision and back out from building? I understand the full amount of deposit may not be refundedBut paying 10K for a few phone callsIs truly outrageousI am not trying to ruine his reputation but I would be gladly to go to court to get this straightened out
Sincerely,
*** ***

This complaint from Dr. [redacted] is false and very slanderous. If this is posted publicly I will be forced to take legal action against Dr. [redacted]. First, our contract started June 8th, 2015, that is the correct purchase date.( see attached contract for verification of dates)  Not...

Feburary, 2nd 2016. Second, Dr. [redacted] wanted out of her $45,000 contract after nearly a year of work had been performed for her. I agreed to allow her out of the remaining $35,000 that was contractually owed to us but due to the year of work performed there was no refund of the $10,000. We both signed a mutual Contract termination letter ( see attached). This outlines Dr. [redacted] agreeing to the services provided for the cost of $10,000 and Veatch Consulting agreeing to release Dr. [redacted] of the remaining amount of $35,000 that she owed us.Finally, from the tone of the email ( see attached) and the Contract Termination letter ( see attached) you can see this was a very mutual situation and there was zero blackmail of any type. I request that this be removed immediately from the Revdex.com site as this false claim can be very harmful to my reputation and business success.  Sincerely,Matthew V[redacted]PresidentVeatch Consulting

Dr. [redacted] knew that the was signing a legal binding agreement when she entered into a contract with Veatch Consulting June 8th, 2015. Her comments that we did no work and "blackmailed" her are a complete lie and show her true character as a person. She is creating a fraudulent complaint to try and get money that was rightfully due. Veatch Consulting worked for Dr. [redacted] for over a year and a half performins services and consulting her on many aspects of starting a practice, advise on negotiating associateship contracts, and even consulting on buying a practice. When Dr. [redacted] stated she wanted out of our contract, I was very willing to help her and not charge the remaining $35,000 that was owed. But for the work provided over a year and a half she was informed the $10,000 retainer would not be refunded. Please understand, if she asked to cancel the contract within 30 days she would have received her money back. But not after using our services for a year and a half and benefiting from those services. The final proof that her claims are false and fraudulent, on May 5th, 2006, Dr. [redacted] signed a Contract Termination Letter stating the following: ( official letter is attached)  Dear Mr. V[redacted]:This letter is being written to confirm that as of this date, I will no longer be using Veatch Consulting’s services. As we have previously discussed, I have decided to go in another direction with respect to my dental practice and do not feel that it is in my best interest to continue our business relationship.Your email of Monday, May 2, 2016 states in part as follows:2) If you feel that you still do not want to continue with any contract, I will be willing to release you from any further financial obligation of the contract. For the $10,000 retainer you have already paid, and in addition to all the consulting advise provided by phone and email, consulting advise provided over employment contracts, and guidance provided over the review of purchasing current practices you are interested in - / will also be willing to provide the logo design work, and website design work for you and the practice that you purchase at no additional cost. Therefore, it is my understanding that other than the forfeiture of the $10,000.00 retainer, no additional amounts are owed to Veatch Consulting. Additionally, although I appreciate the offer, I will not be needing Veatch Consulting’s assistance with any consulting advise, guidance, or logo design work or website design work. Please feel free to contact me with any additional issues you may have regarding this Contract Termination Letter. Best Wishes, [redacted]    [redacted]The above letter was written and signed by Dr. [redacted] agreeing to forfeit the $10,000 for the work performed and for letting her out of the rest of her contract. Her claims are false, and fraudulent. Her claim we provided no work is untrue. If they we true then why would she write and sign a Contract Termination agreement?  Because of this I request to dismiss the complaint with bias.  Sincerely,Matthew V[redacted]President*(*
