Review: I had pipes that were frozen and I was referred to Vegely Welding. First off they sent a technician that was a rookie, had very little training and couldn't give good input as to whether not my pipes were thawed after two hours of "thawing them," so he suggested continuing on at a much higher overtime rate "just to make sure." Being naive to the whole process I said "ok." By the end of the 3 hours I was $722.25 in the hole and still no working water. However it doesn't stop there.To thaw pipes out, from what I understand, there is electrical current used, and if not contained to the portion of the pipe being thawed can cause major damage to the rest of the house. Which is exactly what happened to my house, the technician Vegely sent power surged every appliance in my house. Which means my furnace (I didn't have heat for 4 days until I was able to get it fixed), garage door opener, coffee maker, microwave, stove, and washing machine. The owner never accepted responsibility and tried continuously to deflect the responsibility to the electrician I had hired to check the wiring in my house, [redacted], and then got defensive when I was upset about my whole house not working. This company is unprofessional and unwilling to clean up their mistakes.Desired Settlement: I am formally requesting a settlement of 15k for the damages and other costs my husband and I have ensued.8k for furnace and A/C1k for washer1k for garage door opener and installation 1k for stove200 for keurig and microwave58 hours at $65 an hour of working I missed straightening everything out.
