On July 15, the customer came in with concerns in regards to her mufflerOnce we checked it, the mechanic noticed the issue was
the resonatorWe did the repair to replace the resonator and a piece of pipeThis took care of the initial concernAs is with vehicles and exhaust repairs, once you take care of the major problem such as the resonator, you cannot be sure if there is a leak anywhere else until after the repairAs far this particular situation goes, if the customer heard a noise the same day the vehicle was picked up, the customer should not have waited over days to come backThe flex pipe being cracked is not something that is missed once the vehicle is up in the air (on the lift) and this is something that could have happened in the almost weeks it took the customer to return to the shopI am not sure how we are being blamed for ripping the customer off when they are driving around with the new parts and repairs we did doAs far as the cracked flex pipe, it could have happened after the customer left the shop
