I was contacted via email saying that my renters insurance policy was cancelled by me. I asked to hear the phone call in which I called in canceling the policy. I did not cancel the policy, in fact they are supposed to have written consent saying that I cancelled the policy. Then they were to disperse a check to me which they were supposed to send to my home address. I call again and have them send the check to my parents address because I did not receive the first check. I call again to find out the check was cashed, but they could not tell me what bank it was cashed at. When I look at the the check I realize they have somehow confused my policy with someone in another state. It has the wrong address in fact it is the same address on the email sent to me in which the policy was cancelled. I am scared at this point of them having all of my bank account information and who is using my account. I have always had direct deposit with my account so I have never not made a payment.
