It was a simple misunderstanding we talk to the customer explained to her that she did not pay for the product She said she would contact the Revdex.com and let them know it was a mistake

The BMW which you bought does not have a branded title as we have previously told you We are sorry that the other dealership tried taking advantage of you and miss leaded you The vehicle has a clean title Gephardt told you they wouldn't do anything because velocity didn't do
anything wrong We offered you fair market trade in for the year and miles based on NADA

***,We appreciate you considering Velocity Auto Sales for your pre-owned vehicle needs. We strive to provide the best customer service possible and transparency throughout the sales process. As we explained to you previously, we use a third party provider to list all of our vehicles
as does much of the industry. When they auto populate all of the fields for vehicles such as model, color, transmission type and interior material, they often times make mistakes. We work hard to correct any errors before those ads go live and provide the best description of the vehicle we have for saleWe post all photos of the vehicles online which give an accurate account of what the vehicle is equipped withWe also have a clear and visible disclaimer on all of our ads stating that potential customers must verify all options prior to purchaseUltimately it is the responsibility of the customer to be sure that the vehicle they are purchasing is what they want. We are sorry to hear this vehicle didn't have the options you were looking for. We work hard to take care of our customers. We know that when you do choose to purchase a vehicle from Velocity Auto Sales, you always get the best value. Sincerely,Marcus B***General ManagerVelocity Auto Sales

We are sorry to hear you had some unexpected issues with your vehicle I spoke with *** and our customer service manager and they never received a call or meassage regarding the issues you have had It’s hard to help someone if we didn’t know there was a problem As we stated when
we call you, all of our vehicles come with a day guarantee and all of that would be taken care of I’m not sure why we were never notified of your issues before you wrote to the Revdex.com

I am rejecting this response because: There is no resolution to our problem of having this vehicle that we are not able to trade in for full trade in value due to the structural damage that occurred in 2012. Velocity failed to fully disclose this information to us before purchase. We were only told very minimal information about the accident that was on CarFax. If we had been provided better information before buying the vehicle, we would have NEVER gone ahead with purchasing this vehicle. My husband and I personally know 2 other people that have had similar experiences with the purchases of vehicles from VELOCITY AUTO SALES. When my husband and I went in to discuss with Cory our frustration and concern, he was the one that was defensive and kept interrupting both myself and my husband. I have the 20 minute conversation recorded, which includes very odd remarkes by Cory, and also promises to make it right. He admitted that they have sold vehicles with structual damage in the past but they no longer do this. I left Corey's office very disappointed and frustrated. Since then, the owner of Velocity and Cory have called us liars and said we have slandered there business. I find this very insulting that they have chosen to respond to the matter very negatively and tried to make us out to be the bad guys. Terrible experience in so many ways and I will forever remember the way I was treated and ripped off by this business. Gephardt is still investigating the matter. It is not resolved or closed. It is an active complaint and I intend to follow this through until something right comes from it. This has been a huge stress on our family and lives. I hope to warn others so it doesn't happen to anyone else. Thoroughly check the auto check information. This was provided to us by Carmax just days ago and it gives more detailed information about every vehicle. Velocity only using CARFAX which gives the LEAST information about the history of a vehicle. Velocity knows this of course but they refuse to admit wrong doing. BUYER BEWARE OF VELOCITY AUTO SALES!

I am rejecting this response because Velocity is responsible for what it advertises, even if the ads are done by a third-party. Velocity should have better oversight over third parties that it contracts to perform work on its behalf. Furthermore, Velocity was aware of the false ad and didn't bother to change it until I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com. And there is at least 1 other vehicle still on its website that has the wrong trim package. It has been like that since it was posted. In regards to Velocity's disclaimer, the Motor Vehicle code says such a disclaimer is not valid. Velocity needs to take some accountability for what they are doing. It's deceptive advertising.

Once again as we explained to you your there is nothing wrong with your vehicle.  It has an accident on carfax showing structural damage which happens with unibody cars when they are in an accident.  Your information still is not correct because we do use auto check and carfax.  Also both of those third party companies do not dictate the value or condition of your vehicle.  Your vehicle pasted Utah state safety regulations and was eligible for extended warranty after a thorough inspection because everything checked out on your car.  You also said we didn't disclose more information about the accident.  That is because we have no information about it.  Your vehicle was purchased through the largest dealer only auction in the country and was sold with a clean title.  The value of your vehicle is not compromised because of the accident as we previously told you.  We also told you we would be happy to take your vehicle in on trade.  The following morning we received alerts that you posted negative comments  and misleading information about Velocity.  At that point we informed you we would not continue to do business with you for slandering Velocity with inaccurate information.

We have talked to the all the people who you have filed a complaint with and they have all said the same thing.  We did not deceive you in to buying a vehicle with less options then listed.  We spoke with the Utah consumer protection department on behalf of your complaint and they cleared us of any wrong doing.  We spoke with Bill Gephardt who you filed a complaint to and he said we didn't do anything wrong.  We also spoke with the MVED investagor over car dealers and he said we didn't do anything against the law.  There was a simple heading on a vehicle that was incorrect.  We alway try and make sure all our ads are 100% and we do disclose all buyers need to verify options.  It is clearly stated on all our ads.  Once again we are happy to help you out in any of your future car buys, as know you will get the best deal at Velocity.  We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you but we consider this complaint finalized at this point.

As we told you before we were more than happy to have you trade in you car into velocity for more then double the low ball offer the other dealership offered you.  As we told you before we sold you a clean title vehicle that showed an accident on Carfax on july 3, 2012.  It was...

very clear on Carfax at the time you purchased that there was an accident that caused structural damage.  Any damage to the unibody of a vehicle is announced at auctions as structural damage.  On passenger vehicle like yours the unibody makes up the majority of the vehicle as you can clearly see in the attached picture.  An accident does not change the value of the vehicle as the other dealer tried to scare you guys into believing.  We were more then willing to give you your desired trade in value until you threatened our finance manager and starting slandering us online with lies.  We kindly declined to do business with you after that.
