Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 8, 2016/08/04) */ Mr [redacted] called in a panic that he needed a coin changer for his vending machine which we had available for $104, [redacted] helped him with the transactionWhen it came to shipping, [redacted] read him the options that came up along with the priceshe chose UPS overnight for $When He asked if he would have it for sure tomorrow, ***'s response was "well it says overnight so I guess that means it will be there tomorrow." Therefore, we shipped the item on time as promised, the way that Mr [redacted] asked for and paid for Later, when he didn't get his item the next day, we all discovered that UPS does not deliver on weekends unless you specifically ask for it and pay additional for itIt did not show up as an option so we did not know at the time that it was availableI pointed out to Mr [redacted] on one of his many many many follow up calls, that [redacted] is not a shipping expert and was giving him all of the information that she had available to herWe haven't shipped any of these items UPS overnight before because it's cost prohibitiveIn this case he paid more for the shipping then he did for the item We (all) found out after the fact that things could have been done differently and had a more pleasant outcome, but we didn't have the benefit of hindsight available to usHowever, the fact of the matter is that Mr [redacted] got exactly what he paid for but later found out that isn't what he wanted To address a few statements in Mr***'s complaint: I didn't say " [redacted] has nothing to do with sales" my comment was " [redacted] is not a shipping expert." Yes, I did block Mr***'s numbers because he kept calling non stop harassing my employees even after everything was explained to himIt got to the point where it was extremely disruptive so I did get on the phone with him and less then diplomatically demanded that he stop calling

chose UPS overnight for $106. When He asked if he would have it for sure tomorrow, [redacted]'s response was "well it says overnight so I guess that means it will be there tomorrow." Therefore, we shipped the item on time as promised, the way that Mr. [redacted] asked for and paid for.
Later, when he didn't get his item the next day, we all discovered that UPS does not deliver on weekends unless you specifically ask for it and pay additional for it. It did not show up as an option so we did not know at the time that it was available. I pointed out to Mr. [redacted] on one of his many many many follow up calls, that [redacted] is not a shipping expert and was giving him all of the information that she had available to her. We haven't shipped any of these items UPS overnight before because it's cost prohibitive. In this case he paid more for the shipping then he did for the item.
We (all) found out after the fact that things could have been done differently and had a more pleasant outcome, but we didn't have the benefit of hindsight available to us. However, the fact of the matter is that Mr. [redacted] got exactly what he paid for but later found out that isn't what he wanted.
To address a few statements in Mr. [redacted]'s complaint:
I didn't say "[redacted] has nothing to do with sales" my comment was "[redacted] is not a shipping expert."
Yes, I did block Mr. [redacted]'s numbers because he kept calling non stop harassing my employees even after everything was explained to him. It got to the point where it was extremely disruptive so I did get on the phone with him and less then diplomatically demanded that he stop calling.
