On 1-5-18, I took my dog(***) to vet to check a small bump on his head which was draining a littleVet did not seem concerned about bumpBut without discussing it with me, he stuck a needle with syringe in bump to see what was in itNothing was in syringe, but he said it was in needleHe left maybe minutesWhen he returned, he said there was only a few pus cellsSaid it would probably clear up on its ownI asked about antibiotics be put him on *** mg for daysMy bill ended up being $Invoice enclosedthe $charge was not a requested service, nor was the money involved discussed with meNor was I offered a prescription for the meds could have gotten same meds at *** Pharmacy for $instead of $the vet office charged

Mrs*** came into our clinic on 1/5/because her dog had a bump on it's headWe did an examination on the dog it's heart and lungs were clear, eyes were clear temp was at Nose was ok no discharge mouth looked good and color was good and pinkNo tumors were found on the body,the
pet was slightly overweightLymph nodes were normal. Looked at the bump on the head and felt it, told client we would need to do a cytology to see what was in the bumpWe took a needle and aspirated the bumpLooked under the microscope we found some puss white cells but no tumor cells were seenWe explained to the client what we saw and explained we were going to prescribe antibiotics for daysWe also asked the client to call us back in one week to give us an update, which never happenedDr tried calling client to see how pet was doing on 1/12/No one answered so he left a message but never received a return for callWe charged appropriately for the exam and treatment

I am rejecting this response because:. He never once said anything about doing cytology exam. He just did it.  He also did not check for tumors on his body anywhere.  This sounds like a response from office manager, not the vet.  I was right there and I know what was done.
