I regret Ms *** is dissatisfied with her stay with usI did not see the mattress before they moved in and I did not see it when they moved out.I was not made aware there was any other damageWith all the rain that was happening at the
time of her move in, it may have gotten wet moving in or in the transportation of getting here
Maintenance and the security of our clients personal effects are of utmost importance to us and if there is a problem we get repairs done immediatelyHowever, with this instance, there was absolutely no signs of water in this unitAs per item #of the Rules agreement and two additional paragraphs in the Rental Agreement which plainly state we are not responsible for tenants itemsIt is up to the tenant to contact their personal insurance company to advise them they have items in storage, their insurance will cover the itemsThese paragraphs require the tenant to initial these statements
We carry a large selection of plastic items for tenants to purchase to cover their furniture and mattresses while they are in storageMs *** choose not to purchase any of these items
Again, I regret Ms *** is not satisfied with our service, After speaking with her insurance company it does sound as though they will cover her mattress

It states that it does not coverage damage done in the unit if stolen or other natural disastersHowever this was not a natural disaster this was lack of them maintaining there propertyAs a renter I am entitle to a unit that doesn't leak I have pictures to prove that there were holes in the roofI also have pictures of where it leaked onto the floorWe moved into the unit on a dry day and we moved out on a dry daySo there was no water damage done on those daysI have multiple pictures to prove thatI did contact my insurance company and because the owner of the unit will not respond to them they will not cover my loss

Again, I am sorry Mrs *** is unhappy with our facilityShe is more than welcome to come into my office and I will be happy to show her where all clients initial in two different places on our contract regarding this very issueIf it would be easier for Mrs *** I will be happy to drop her signed copy of our rental agreement in the mailPlease let me know what works best for her
I did speak with her insurance company and from what the adjuster said it sounded as if they were going to pay this claimIf the insurance company needs to speak with me again, please have them call me

It is their responsibility to maintain their property properly to prevent the leaks in the roofThe damage was not due to floodingIt was due to improper maintenancePlease have them mail me the agreement where it states that they are not responsible to maintain their property
