Revdex.com spoke with the business. The customer did not have the business install the unit, labor is not covered because she had someone else install the unit. The customer was aware that the Freon is not covered under a warranty and she was made aware of the price before she paid for the service.
Review: I was overcharged for repair service on a heat pump that was covered by a warranty. I informed the service tech that the unit was under 1 yr old and covered by the warranty. I was told by the tech that it issue was not covered . The parts replaced were not worn or damaged and the tech over charged for the replacement part . And charged for refrigerate refill that was not needed. The entire service repair was wrongfully charge to me the customer when it should have been charged to the warranty provided by the manufactor. The service tech was made aware of the warrantyand completely disregarded it by charging the customer me.Desired Settlement: I want to be refunded the entire amount paid for the repair including the service charge.

Veneys Heating and Air contactedAir temp and was told the unit was under warranty. But did not notify me that my unit was not covered under warranty for Veneys Heating and Air to service my unit. But was covered for the original installer. They did not notify me that they were replacing parts and the cost of this before completing the service. If they had done so I wouldn't allow them to service my unit. They did not give me the option to say no before completing the work . They also offered the undo their service by removing the refrigerant and the parts and refunding me $220.00 less the cost of the service call but upon receiving the letter from Revdex.com, they withdrew the offer. They did not follow protocol of notification to the customer me before completing a service call that was covered under warranty.
