The customer purchased a tire from us and asked us to mount the new tire on the wheel he provided.  We mounted the new tire on the wheel and charged him to do so.  We offered to mount the tire on the motor home as a courtesy.  We would have properly jacked the vehicle up but the...

customer decided to help expedite the process and jacked the motor home up himself by driving the inner wheel up on a block.  One of our mechanics attempted to help the customer remove the spare on the outside of the dually and replace the wheel.  Our mechanic did not realize that the vehicle had been improperly jacked up by the customer.  We have offered to reimburse the customer for 50% of the expense because we should have noticed that the customer had improperly jacked up the motor home.  Our final offer is to reimburse Mr. Forrest $600.

We determined the potion that we were willing to pay by the bills you presented to us which totaled $1252.22.  We calculated our offer without the mileage that you had in your bill $1252.22-91.30/2=$580.46.  We rounded up to $600 for the milage.  This is our final offer.
