Why doesnt the Star print the Daytime TV programming as you do for Evening?

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because:The business responded that “There was never a call regarding delivery until 2/2/18.”The first call to the business was made on 1-10-to a representative name DiamondPer this representative I would be credited the missed months and delivery of the paper would begin directly.The second call to the company was made on 2-2-to cancel service since no delivery service occurredPer representative Alexis, my account information would be sent to billing for a refund due to services not fulfilled by the company.Regards, D [redacted]

We attempted to reach this customer on 1/11/2017 by phone to resolve this issueA voice message was left on their machine with a call back requestThe VC Star has credited their account while we await their return call

I don’t have time to read the newspaper except on Sunday, when I look forward to finding it right outside my door and then spending an hour or two reading it early in the morning, saving the crossword puzzle to work during the weekI have subscribed to the V.C Star exclusively for about years nowRarely is it late or missing and when it is missing they bring by another copy within an hour or two
Yesterday, instead of the Star there was a copy of the N Y Times in its place which I have no use forSo, at AM I called the Star and a recording said that another Star would be delivered as soon as possibleFineSo I sat around doing as little as possible so that I could read it as soon as it arrivedBy AM there was no Star deliveredSo, I called the Star again and a recording said I would be connected with an attendantI waited several minutes then pressed a key to tell the computer to call me as soon as an attendant could find timeNo callAt 9:I called again with the same resultNo callAt AM same thingFinally, at 10:a person answered and said they would notify the supervisor that I was still waiting for my paperNothingAt PM, hours after my first call, I called againA recording said everyone had gone home and that they would send an email to the subscriber services and give me a credit on my billIf I wanted a credit instead of a newspaper I wouldn’t subscribe
Result: no Star for the weekPersonally, I don’t think anybody there works on Sunday morning except someone who answers the phone for a while to give excuses to anyone who calls and then they leaveTo bad the only county newspaper is an unresponsive monopoly
And for this, every time I renew my subscription they ask for a tip for the delivery person

I have been trying to cancel my subscription for some time now and have been unsuccessful. I have tried calling at different time and different day, the chat site does not allow you to type in (even though their employee on the chat asks if you are still there, and email is equally not helpful. Is there anyone who has had this problem?

We have permanently stopped this subscriber's account and are issuing a $14.97 refund, or 3 month's worth of subscription fees. We have also contacted this subscriber to explain.
