I am rejecting this response because:several things were untrueFirst.., the payment plan where my debt was placed was not discussed, other than the $monthly, nothing elseThat I discovered down the road talking with associates who work with the collections..,
second, the option of securing the coverage of insurance upfront was never an option offered to me, even under the circumstances of this happening in the past @ this office? But third.., that's why the insurance didn't payThe document that the surgeon sent, stated that the teeth did not need to be out, making it an electiveIf I had known this prior to surgery, I would have saved time, money, and painAnd for what?? This is the sad truth when you trust your practitioner, as a patient, to give you the right advise, and make sure, very sure that the information they provide to you is correct, and won't keep costing you more money in the future

Review: I have been going to Ventura dental group for well over 6+ years, trusting their recommendations. So when they kept repeatedly recommending I take out my wisdom teeth, that I have had for over 35 years, I finally agreed, I would request a few days off of work, schedule to have the procedure done, as long as my dental insurance would cover it. First, I was told that my insurance would cover all but $15, per tooth. Then, after plans in place, I was told that was incorrect it would actually end up costing me $30, per tooth instead. I agreed, the extractions were done (awake), and months down the road (almost a year) I was told I had an outstanding balance for the full amount! Saying my insurance did not cover the extractions.... AFTER the fact!! So unable to pay the outstanding balance, Ventura dental group put my balance onto a payment plan, not of their own, but told me that this way it would only cost me $25 monthly. It turns out that this payment plans has penalties and fees, plus a balloon payment @ the end of the year... All if which I was not informed. This debt has not only caused me grief, but hardships as well. This happened on several occasions over the years, but this one was the worst business scam I have ever seen.Desired Settlement: Well, since I can't replace the perfectly good teeth they stole from me, taking care if the fees that have accrued this last year due to false statements regarding the cost of this procedure. They were not truthful and I went through so much pain and suffering, not to mention that they put me in a worst situation than prior to the surgery. This is so shady to misrepresent a patient, as a business to gain additional funds. I'm scared to go back to another dentist now due to loss of faith.

But third.., that's why the insurance didn't pay... The document that the surgeon sent, stated that the teeth did not need to be out, making it an elective. If I had known this prior to surgery, I would have saved time, money, and pain... And for what?? This is the sad truth when you trust your practitioner, as a patient, to give you the right advise, and make sure, very sure that the information they provide to you is correct, and won't keep costing you more money in the future...
