Ventura RV/Car Connection Reviews (1)

Review: I recently purchased a vehicle on Feb 12 2013 from Ventura car connection and I test drove it and I informed the sales man that it may need brakes and a tune upend he replied he will fix the problem, so we go back to the dealer to discuss a deal and see how much a monthly payment would be a month, so before I gave the down payment, I wanted to see a carfax, so he went upstairs to get a report not a carfax, he came back with a report called a (nmvitis)which is report the claim is from the government and it came back clear it said no accidents etc. so I signed the paperwork and went on my way.so a week later I checked the fluids on my vehicle and there was no oil in the engine I called the dealer and explained the problem so I took it back and they solved that problem along with the problem with the noise that came from the front meaning the break area, they surfaced the rotors, and the noise went away, then a few days went by and the noise came back again from the breakarea,so I called the dealer back and spoke to the service manager, and again for thee second time, they again cut and surfaced the rotars, they washed my car and send me on my way. Then a week goes by and a problem with the car jerking happend, like it just wanted you stop, again for the third time I call the dealer and tol,the service manager the problem with my car and still the noise in the front I’m the break area still happen, and it they couldn’t so called find the problem with the jerking, and again they cut the rotars, and they change fluids and washed my car sent me on my way. And then a week later the problem with the car jerking and it wanting to stall I took it to my mechanic and he put it on a machine and it read that that it was the cam shaft sensor was no good,so irritated and fustrated I call the dealer I explaind that the noise in the break area still going, and the sensor was the problem was wrong so they asked to bring it back..so they relaced thesensor and cut and resurfaced the rotars and sent me on myway...again for thefourth fifth time the noise still continued and then I call yhe dealer to tell them about the same problem, and there response was they dont know what the problem was,nor bother to take the front end apart to investigate it thurally,so I call the owner and he asked me to bring it in and hell make sure it was done right and I meet the owner at the dealership and check the problem out and all they did was take the tires off look at the brakes and took the air hose blew the area of the breaks again they surfacethe rotars and cut themand sent me on my way so again a wweek went by and yhe noise came backand yhey said they didnt know what the problem is, so I yook it back to complain to the owner to complai, they took it apart on the front em just the brakes and roatars and found the motor mounts were no good, and if fell under warranty they would fix it along withe deductible which wasa 100.00and I gave a down payment of 40.00 ahead of timeand the service manager said just give him the money and he will write me a reciept later or at time of the remainder of the full amount was renderd, and I said ok,and he took the money and placed it in a door in the office accesiable to anyone,so I took it upon myself to stop the service manager for a recipt, and although he had a grin on his face,he opend his computer and printed a recept, and I told him, just covering my as incase someone forgets that I applied this 40.00 toward the decutible for the repair of my vehicle..so a week later wich was april the fourth I took in the car and they replaced the motor mounts and I told them did they fix or look at the noises that the car countined to make in the wheel area, and they said unfourtunately we dont know what the problem was we cant determine what it is and if they look at it there gonna have to charge me to do so,and becuase the warranty hadexpired so thats why theyd would charge me accordingly...being that im barely making it fancially,I had to delcline,so a month later I wanted to trade in my vehicle at team nissan, and I got my car appraised and did a carfax and the report read much different from the report given by the ventura car connection,on the carax it had an accident ,air bag deployment and frame damage on the frint end,and I can see cleary the hood and the body of vehicle were both different shades of red!so I calm down cause I was very upset of the news I just found out, so I call the dealer the next day to explained what had happend so he asked me to come in on a tuesday,to see if we could fix the problem..so tuesday and the sales man who I signed the paper work with was present the owner was present and the co owner was present along with my self and my brother we briefly went over the the report the nmvitis report and the carfax and they claimed they didnt know abouth the accident I mean common sense if u purchase a vehicle, u shoulda ran a normal carfax and had the vehicle inspected before putting this car on the the lot I mean the accident happend in 2009-2010 how is it not possible to see or compare the reports?so going on to the story the ownwer and co owner agreed verbalally to swap cars without any outta pocket monies at time of exchange and we all agreed, asked me to look at vehicles to see if I liked anything, and unfourtunately I did find anything so the sales man, said look around the auto express or car magazines to see if I find a acar and when the owner goes to auctions hed most likey buy that vehicle or keep an eye out for the certain vehicle, then I asked when would they be getting cars in and he said by next week so I said ok ,ill be back tuesday,so I go tuesday afternoon around 5 and I saw a a honda and a altima and a chevy and I spoke to the same sales man I signed the paperwork with and he said lets see what your cars worth and how much im negative cause I pay147.00 and 90.00 for full coverage in insurance I said wait we agreed on swaping out cars without any outta pocket monies at time of exchange, anDesired Settlement: To trade car for safer car with no outta pocket monies like agreed in meeting with the owner,or return the money I put down plus the payments already invested into the vehicle without harming my credit score.
