Ventura Yellow Cab

Review: On October 19th I requested a pick up from Ventura Yellow Cab for October 20th to go from Moorpark, California to LAX. Their websites, www.yellowcabmoorpark.com and www.yellowcabventura.com advertise "Airport Flat Rates." The flat rate from Moorpark to LAX is advertised as $115. When I requested the cab from ###-###-####, they only asked me my address and where I was going. They did not ask if I wanted a flat rate or a metered rate. I was charged $182 for the ride from Moorpark to LAX instead of the advertised flat rate of $115. When I called them they said I wasn't charged the flat rate because I didn't ask for it. I pointed out that it was advertised and even if that were the case, they have a "Rate Estimator" on each websites. I traveled 51.21 miles and their "Rate Estimator" indicates that the fare should be $146.40, yet I was charged $182. It was 8:35 a.m. on a Sunday morning and there was no traffic, so it is not possible that traffic conditions was the cause of the increase. They then told me that those were old rates and I shouldn't go by those. At one point I was even told that those are not their websites, yet I am able to make a reservation with them through those websites. I would like a refund of $67, or at a minimum, $35.60 if the Revdex.com feels that I don't deserve to receive the flat rate that was advertised. As a side note, I was forced to pay by check because the cab driver said my card was not working, but I used it in the airport 30 minutes later, so it was fine. I was later told by the company that they do not accept checks, but it was cashed.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $67, or at a minimum, $35.60 if the Revdex.com feels that I don't deserve to receive the flat rate that was advertised.
