In June of 2017, a door-to-door sales person representing Venture Pest Control of Atlanta (Alpharetta) offered mosquito abatement treatment for my homeThe sales person told me that mosquito pest control for 1st time treatment was $and $69/month/treatment thereafter, with no contract required, and I could cancel the treatment service whenever I wantedThe sales person also assured me that they could eliminate mosquito pests without mentioning any potential negative effects concerning the environment or beneficial insectsBased on the verbal representations by the sales person, acting on behalf of and for Venture Pest Control of Atlanta, I signed the electronic paperwork agreement After services, I discovered that virtually all insects (beneficial or otherwise) in our yard were either dead or missingAs evidence of this condition, a vegetable garden we plant and harvest successfully on a yearly basis did not get pollinated due to the lack of bees and butterflies, and produce

Poor pest control service, with a contract that does not protect the client
In June I hired Venture to provide pest control for my new homeThe agreement stated that in between quarterly visits, Venture would come back to treat if necessaryWhat this meant for my home, were revisits after the initial 6/treatment on 7/7, 7/21, 7/31, 8/16, and a final email on 9/letting Venture know that we were still seeing the SAME live bugs and no longer wanted their service
What their "contract" allows them to do is provide unacceptable service under the guise of a guarantee that they will continue to revisit for free to "retreat", when nothing actually gets better- this seems to be a trend in complaints for this non-accredited businessWhile I am not yet disputing the already paid charges for poor service, I will if I am forced to pay off this poor contract

A salesperson from Venture Pest Control visited my house, and made a solicitation for business (pest control service and protection program) Not understanding what was happening, my wife signed a contract and provided our credit card There is a "No Solicitation" sign in our neighborhood, and I do not like people stopping by my house to sell things IMPORTANT - we are currently renters at our house, and we have no desire to pay for pest control services I feel the initial sales tactics were not straightforward and not honest This led to us signing a contract we never wanted in the first place On Friday, April 1, - I called and spoke with Scott He informed me that I would have to pay a cancellation charge to get out of the contract! I find this completely unacceptable and unethical

Just don't sign anything the salesman at the door has because they are very misleadingI'd say dishonest The service guys are nice, sales guys are nice, but the guys running the company are dishonest I'm also reporting them to the Revdex.com I emailed the company multiple times and no response A very unprofessional company, sad to say I rarely write a bad review, but it this case it's well deserved I'd recommend a different company for sure
The salesman said I can cancel anytime I emailed the company and told them I wanted to cancel, their only reply was that I'm on the schedule I don't need bug spray in the middle of winter They should have offered to push it out to spring, but they didn't They billed me an extra $for canceling for the "discount" I got for trying them out Once you start, you're screwed
