This is the very worst business that my husband and I have EVER used We signed a contract for service on May 20, and, at that time, we were seeing a few scattered ants around the house As there had been rain that week, they came out and sprayed the evening of May which, to their credit, was the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend Beginning Sunday, May 24, we began seeing THOUSANDS of ants everywhere As it was the weekend of Memorial Day, we couldn't call until Tuesday, May 26th We called twice that day and our calls weren't answered until May We were told to wait a few days because the ants were 'agitated' but that the problem should abate in a few days We waited until the next Monday, June to call again and complain The problem had only gotten worse They didn't call until Tuesday, June I scheduled a re-treatment for Wednesday, June at 4:pm but had to cancel as my son has been ill I left a message and NO ONE EVER CALLED! It had been a full weeks of living with kitchen counters that were crawling with thousands of ants They were in the sink, trash and dishwasher After washing dishes, we had to wipe the dead ant bodies parts off before storing the dishes My husband was furious and went out on Sunday, June to purchase his own treatment for pests at the [redacted] For just over $17, my husband managed to rid our house of the ants that had over run it since signing the contract with Venture It was dramatic and instantaneous The ants were gone as fast as they had arrived and they have not come back sinceNot only is Venture of Ashland unresponsive to its customers and uncommitted to helping, they also wanted to start the next quarterly treatment as of June I had called (and left a message because Venture doesn't answer phone calls, apparently) the week of June to cancel becaue my husband had sprayed and we finally found relief from the ants Additionally, I sent Venture an email and left an additional phone message on June when they tried to call to schedule the next quarterly treatment (another $for them - even though it had only been month) Again, they emailed me looking to schedule the next quarterly treatment I emailed them back telling them that this was the second email and that I had already left a phone message Finally, someone from Venture called He let us know that in addition to the $that we had already paid, Venture expected an additional $to cancel the contract (this was all listed in the contract)Venture never fulfilled its end of the contract and we were forced to stop the credit card payment What ever happened to customer service (or ANY service) Venture?

Friendly sales person - very ineffective treatmentsAfter failing to control a pest problem after two scheduled treatments at $95/piece and an extra re-treatment Venture Pest Control requested yet another (4th) treatmentIn response to my choice to part ways due to their inability to take care of the problem they responded with an additional $charge! All said and done I paid $to have the same pest problem I started with!!!

Very polite, knowledgable and professional Reliable

This is the very worst business that my husband and I have EVER used. We signed a contract for service on May 20, 2015 and, at that time, we were seeing a few scattered ants around the house. As there had been rain that week, they came out and sprayed the evening of May 23 which, to their credit, was the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Beginning Sunday, May 24, we began seeing THOUSANDS of ants everywhere. As it was the weekend of Memorial Day, we couldn't call until Tuesday, May 26th. We called twice that day and our calls weren't answered until May 27. We were told to wait a few days because the ants were 'agitated' but that the problem should abate in a few days. We waited until the next Monday, June 1 to call again and complain. The problem had only gotten worse. They didn't call until Tuesday, June 2. I scheduled a re-treatment for Wednesday, June 3 at 4:30 pm but had to cancel as my son has been ill. I left a message and NO ONE EVER CALLED! It had been a full 2 weeks of living with kitchen counters that were crawling with thousands of ants. They were in the sink, trash and dishwasher. After washing dishes, we had to wipe the dead ant bodies parts off before storing the dishes. My husband was furious and went out on Sunday, June 7 to purchase his own treatment for pests at the [redacted]. For just over $17, my husband managed to rid our house of the ants that had over run it since signing the contract with Venture. It was dramatic and instantaneous. The ants were gone as fast as they had arrived and they have not come back since.
Not only is Venture of Ashland unresponsive to its customers and uncommitted to helping, they also wanted to start the next quarterly treatment as of June 22. I had called (and left a message because Venture doesn't answer phone calls, apparently) the week of June 8 to cancel becaue my husband had sprayed and we finally found relief from the ants. Additionally, I sent Venture an email and left an additional phone message on June 22 when they tried to call to schedule the next quarterly treatment (another $98 for them - even though it had only been 1 month). Again, they emailed me looking to schedule the next quarterly treatment. I emailed them back telling them that this was the second email and that I had already left a phone message. Finally, someone from Venture called. He let us know that in addition to the $79.99 that we had already paid, Venture expected an additional $120 to cancel the contract (this was all listed in the contract).
Venture never fulfilled its end of the contract and we were forced to stop the credit card payment. What ever happened to customer service (or ANY service) Venture?

Very polite, knowledgable and professional. Reliable.

Friendly sales person - very ineffective treatments. After failing to control a pest problem after two scheduled treatments at $95/piece and an extra re-treatment Venture Pest Control requested yet another (4th) treatment. In response to my choice to part ways due to their inability to take care of the problem they responded with an additional $120 charge! All said and done I paid $310 to have the same pest problem I started with!!!
