Review: I have been paying for two parking spots for about 3 years. I recently stopped paying for two because we are a one car family now. The person who I spoke to wrote down the wrong information about the spot I was going to keep and a month later my car has a boot on it and I had to pay $95 to take it off. There was no contact from the reality office to me about this mistake. They have all my information. They have my license plate on file. If they would have contacted me I would have parked in the other spot ( the spots are next to each other). I want to be compensated for their mistake.Desired Settlement: $95

My firm is the managing agent for the Co-op where Ms. [redacted] lives. As to her complaint, we have a towing company that patrolls the parking lot. All cars without tags are booted. A car was seen in the parking spot she had given up. The car, according to the super of the building and the tow company, had no tag. It was booted. It turned out to be Ms. [redacted] car.

While no one likes to get booted, her car was not in her spot and did not have a tag, which is required. As to her remark about knowing her license plate, the tow company is not given this information. They are required to boot any car without a tag.

The building has over 150 parking spaces. It is impossible for the Super to know which car belongs to which tenant.

The tow company followed policy and the car was correctly booted.
