We did talk to the Subaru dealer in Mandan and they told us that the noise was a thinkThe motor knocks for about seconds when its coldWe did tell the customer about it at the time of purchase he still chose to purchase the vehicleIf he would have brought it back within a week I would
have given him his car back and all his moneyBut he didn't bring it back for over a month and he put on miles on the carThe law state that he bought the car as is and I dint have to give him any of his money backI chose to give him the majority of his money back because I try do run my store the right way and not have unsatisfied customersBut this person is being unreasonableI do have a signed copy of the Buyers Guide that states the car was sold as isIn closing I feel I went above and beyond by giving him his money back and taking the car back after he had it for a month and putting miles on the carI believe that not another dealer would have giving any of his money back. I am rejecting this response because:
Veracity keeps changing the story and not resolving any issues. They continue to get their past customers to verbally attack me on Facebook which is very unprofessional. They do not want to talk about the wrong oil that was put into the car where they tried to hide the noise. The noise was still present after 2,000 RPMs that the dealership inspected. This business is all about money, not customers. It shouldn't matter if it was a week or a month, a car should not break down after 2500 miles on it. They accepted the return for a reason because they knew it was a bad car. When all I'm asking for at the minimum is my $500 from my trade in and they can not work with me but value their customers shows how much they really do care about their customers. Also they keep avoiding the part about [redacted] yelling at me because I asked a simple question. This business is absolutely taking advantage of their customers by trying to hide problems in the car. You can look online and find at least 8 other situations that this has happened at their  dealership. They could end all of this by just reimbursing me my money. They also keep bringing up the fact that there are two different subaru dealerships saying different things but their is no record of them bringing it into a Subaru dealership. Subaru will automatically enter it into a computer for future reference. This vehicle was never inspected.
