I do not recommend this community for women living aloneMy apartment was beautiful but I am terminating my lease due to serious safety concernsSince moving here last summer, I have witnessed drug deals in the parking lot and I have seen illicit substances being used on verandas in plain viewI have been sexually harassed multiple times by neighbors and their guestsThe gate is broken a good deal of the time, but even when it works, trespassers piggy back behind tenants to gain entrance to the propertyThe last straw: I was assaulted by a man who was contracted by the property to pick up the garbage through the valet trash serviceThe property manager acted immediately and fired the man; however, I'm left uneasy living hereFurther, a few days after that incident, I came home to find pools of blood in the breezeway where my apartment is locatedI notified the office but the police never came and I was never given an explanation for the bloodIt took till the next afternoon for the blood to be cleaned up (which I must add is a health hazard deserving of immediate clean up, not next day clean up)
On a note regarding the property's cleanliness, people do not pick up after their pets so the property is littered with fecesThere is constantly trash left in the breezeways and the garbage men allow trash to leak on the pavement so that the breezeways are dirtySomeone broke some glass in my breezeway once and glass shards littered the walkway for almost two weeks before maintenance cleaned it up
The maintenance men are really nice, however, this past summer I had recurring issues with my A.Cunit not cooling properlyThey "fixed" the unit multiple times and it still doesn't cool effectivelyBecause it doesn't work properly, my electric bill is substantially more in this apartment than in any other apartment I've ever lived in
