Veridian Credit Union

I've been with this bank for around years and am done with themI've had deposits put in the wrong acct, had one teller too lazy to enter the check number manually so I left and went to another Veridian and complainedThey entered the numbers manually and told me all of the locations can also do thatI complained about having to drive across Des Moines when it could have been done the first time, they took my info to look into it and I never heard backi've applied for loans and gotten ridiculous offers and requirements, that small local banks beat by farMy latest, and last issue I will ever have with Veridian, is over the problems I've had with the mobile app not accepting or receiving deposits at allI deposit my check before 2pm via wireless internet and most often it seems that they do not go through, or at least not as describedAt first I figured it was probably me, and chalked it up as user errorBut the last times I've used it it verifies that the deposit was completed yet my check is not depositedThis time it appears the problem started when I entered the wrong deposit amount, which they fixed but didn't run it throughNo one knows why, what to do, how to correct it, etc, until maybe MondayThere was no email cancelling the deposit, no phone call, nothing at allJust the holding of my money without notice and no one available who knows why or when it will be availableI can't go cash it at my other bank or do anything with it, because no one knows what is going on with itI might end up depositing it at banks and facing criminal charges if I do that
So they're just holding my money until they decide what to do about this, I guessMeanwhile, since my local bank isn't open to withdraw from my savings, I am broke on my girlfriends birthday and am going to have to figure out how I'm going to buy the last minute birthday gift? I realize that's not Veridian's problem I procrastinated or entered the wrong numberI'm not blaming them for thatI'm blaming them for seizing my money for days and not giving me any notice or chance to cancel the deposit

If you're considering to bank with Gradien I tell you this don't do it! Horrible customer service and takes over a month and a half to get a refund and you have to go and do all this extra work to get your refund when they authorize the charge that should not have been authorized.Back in early November a business double charged me so a few days later I called varidian to let them
Know what had happened and they were not helpful whatsoeverThey told me I had to go to the business and ask for my money backwhat!! So even though I feel that is completely ridiculous that my bank is not going to handle the situationBut anyways I went to this tablet Schmidt and I spoke with the manager and let them know what happened and I don't waiting for over a month and a half and I still have not received my moneySo I've called into viridian from November until now about three or four times and they kept telling me you have to wait days days we can't do anything for you we can't do anything for you! Completely livid this is ridiculous you are my bank horrible customer service I also bank with USAA and a local Texas bank and when this has happened they refunded my money while they were looking into the situationWaiting over a month and a half to receive my refund is just horribleWhen I get my refund I am closing my account because it is completely ridiculous I refuse to bank with a company that doesn't take care of its customers
