We are writing in response to your complaint regarding an incident at your apartment at*** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** I’d like to personally apologize for the inconvenience and intrusion you and your mother experienced and I’d also like to attempt to
explain our company’s actions.
We always attempt to work with our residents to avoid any undue impositions, and we always make every effort to follow all applicable laws regarding entering a propertyWe generally are able to give our residents at least 24-hour notice when we need to enter a home, with the main exception being in the case of an emergency.
In the case of our entering your apartment on April 17th, our third-party contractor (under the supervision of our onsite manager) was trying to determine the cause and severity of a water leak in the basement which may have been in close proximity to an electrical sourceIt was his determination that this was an emergency situation, and in order to provide safety and reassurance to all our residents, he made the decision to inspect those apartments which had any possibility of being affectedHe wanted to be 100% sure that the leak was entirely contained and was not a threat to any other apartments or building areas.
Our contractor has assured us that he did make an effort to contact someone at your address prior to gaining entry, but he was unsuccessful and didn’t feel it was safe or prudent to post a 24-hour entry notice on the door due to the possibly unsafe situation
We sincerely apologize again for our intrusion and we hope this at least explains our attempts to rectify the situationOur residents’ safety, comfort and well-being are our primary concernIf you feel there’s something more we could do to rectify this matter we’d like to hear from you to discuss itWe look forward to working with you to avoid any future problems, and as always, feel free to contact ***, your onsite manager to request any immediate needs

We actually did reply to this complaint, not sure what happened but it was doneIn essence, what we said was.....we are actively working with ** ***wartz to handle the situation*** *** wanted to do a lease break, there are fees associated with that, we agreed to waive
some of them, however, she vacated the apartment leaving behind a debt which resulted in collectionsWe made every effort to work with*** *** and in fact, continue to do soWe are currently in negotiations with *** *** and beleive we will find an amicable solutionWe will update you once fully resolvedThank you for your patience and understanding.
