Instead of writing a long paragraph on why you should go somewhere else I will let me just give you some facts to watch out for if you are researching this office as your primary care.
1. Membership- They will get you in the long run. Tried canceling the other day and was stated that if I did I would owe them money. Never stated to me in the first meeting with them. And I did check my paperwork.
2. Promises made- First meeting was all about getting to know me and what was wrong. Was ok until I heard we can fix all of that "I promise".
3. Appointments- You will have a good 1 1/2 appointment going over what you need to fix or do to get better then will be scheduled 3 months later for your next one. So for $1,000+ a year you will get to see you Nurse Practitioner 4 times ($84 a month x 12 months = $1,008).
4. Money- You will spend thousands and thousands of dollars not covered by insurance. (veritas doesn't accept insurance) That's not including all the supplements and health foods you need to buy to change over to a health diet.
I'm not saying that changing your life style and eating habits cannot hurt. It just would have been nice to have a doctor there ready to focus on your disease vs eating healthy. All I can say from my almost 2 years there is do your research. I went into veritas needing help with my disease and I'm in worse shape now then day one. If someone would of wrote this a long time ago I would have tried another place or done more research. They always say a regular doctor feels like being herded like cattle but if you do your own research and have specifics on what your going through you could save a lot of money by going somewhere else. Veritas might be great place for your common cold but when it come to curing your disease please go to a doctor that knows vs let try this method and see if it works, will see you in three months.
