My family moved our entire home to a rental as we have to raise our home due to Hurricane Sandy damage. Verity Van Lines crew showed up on time and were extremely courteous, polite, quick, thorough, funny and conscientious of our needs during the move. They kept what was a stressful situation pleasurable and they were meticulous with our belongings. The price quoted is what we were charged and everything about the move went well. I would highly recommend Verity Van Lines for your moving needs and will use them again when we move back to our home this year.

The team who moved my belongings from Long Island to Florida were consummate professionals in every aspect of moving and driving. They are brothers and work together as if by telepathy - very little time wasted in talk. The young woman who arrived earlier tagged each item and kept a record of all. She is the daughter of one and, obviously, the niece of the other. Although I am a retired teacher/college professor, I told them I want to be a moving man when I grow up - they were so inspirational.

I was totally pleased with the service from Verity Van Lines. From the first phone call to the last box that came off the truck. I couldn't be happier. Everyone was polite and professional... Would not even think of using another company in the future.

Ours was just a complicated move of Estate furniture from down stairs to upstairs. Verity Van Lines made the whole procedure so simple. From the first point of contact with [redacted] to [redacted] who came and packed in a snow storm to then [redacted] and Rob who then came in with this great attitude that nothing was a problem and they were glad to help. We are in the process of using Verity Van Lines for our move from Long Island to New Jersey. So far John B[redacted] packed everything we couldn't do ourselves. He was very professional, neat, clean and organized. The next day different guys came to load the truck. Paul was the driver and his helpers were Darren and Tori. The were in and out in 3 1/2 hours. Just in time for the walk thru with the new owners. They were so organized and careful with our belongings. We are expecting the delivery in 2 days to our new place. So far so good.

The entire process with Verity has been outstanding. Personnel are so pleasant & helpful, from Rob (salesperson) to Jennifer (office staff) & moving crew (Dennis, Raf, Matt & Joe.) We've moved from NY to FL. Very stressful. But all at Verity have been so professional, and we are confident to leave this move in their hands. Our belongings are in storage as we look for a house. We've requested the same moving crew to unload in FL, they were GREAT. We used Verity as my sister in law used them in her move from NY to FL 2 years ago and she was so pleased. We plan to recommend them to others also.

Our move to North Carolina was worry free because of the professionalism of the moving staff of Verity headed by Gordon S. The team removing the contents of our home treated them as if they were their own. Our furniture arrived in less than a week in perfect condition and placed our belongings where we wanted.

Frank and his crew on both ends of the trip were courteous and extremely professional. They made sure that everything was packed securely and unpacked with care. I have moved all over the country, Five Times, and have experienced every type of moving company there is. On a scale of 1-10, I'd rate Verity Van Lines Inc. from Seaford, NY as a BIG ZERO. Like other sleazy moving companies they quote you one price and then after you sign a contract, the price goes up. My sales representative, is like most. In that when his lips are moving, he's lying. Salvatore P[redacted] promised me that he has been doing this all of his life and he over estimated the weight of my items so that I will be safe AND even if he was wrong that I would have a 10% price guarantee. He said that after they get my furniture picked up that I would see both before and after weigh bills. Never saw anything. Naturally, the price went up after they took my furniture away. Then they changed the arrival date, so my belongings sat on a truck for two weeks in Seaford, NY. On several occasions they told me that they only carry insurance for $00.60 (60 cents) a pound and that I should increase it at an additional charge.I declined. It wasn't until my furniture arrived (3 weeks later) that I was told that if there is any damage that they were only responsible for what "THEY PACKED". I packed everything except 3 items. And I When I found damaged items, I called "Sal" he never returned my calls until I threatened to write bad reviews. Then he called me and told me to send him photos of the damage and he will take care of it. I never heard from him again. When I called their office I was told that he was on vacation and that I needed to complete a claim form that they would mail me. I'm still waiting for that. I also asked, "Why would I purchase extra insurance, if they were not responsible for 99% of my shipment? Answer: [redacted]. Huh? [redacted] to offer me more insurance and not tell me that they are not responsible for anything that they don't pack. In summary, They are [redacted] of a moving company just like many of the others. Learn from my mistake. Read the reviews on their web site, [redacted] and [redacted] them and see for yourself.

Excellent, Honest & Courteous service. The crew went out of their way to be as careful as possible. Upon delivery, only one glass item was broken in over 400 boxes. No furniture was damaged. Pickup and delivery were on time.

First, the estimate provided by Sal was on the mark. Sal was friendly, helpful and professional. Second, the three man moving team led by Gregg was first rate. Their care and attention to detail was excellent. They took their time, protected every item and acted like they were moving their own furniture. They were careful about marring wall or moving items. They put runners down to protect floors. Upon arrival at our new home they carefully placed items where requested. All in all, they were excellent. I highly recommend them.

Gordon and the rest of the Verity team were extremely professional, efficient and caring during our move from New York to Charleston, SC. They worked fast, displayed great problem solving, and made us feel comfortable with the whole process. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to our closest friends and family.

Paul R. and his crew were true gentlemen (courteous, helpful and extremely considerate of our new floors and walls throughout our new home). They were quick and efficient and just a pleasure to be around.

We had Verity move us from Long Island, NY to Chesapeake, VA in July 2015.

All those involved with Verity, with no exceptions were the most helpful and professional people I have run into in a long time.

After 75 years of living in NY it was hard to pick up and moving to another state. All the people at Verity were very accommodating and made the move as painless as could be.
