I hired Verlys Pro Moving Labor company to move my belongings on May 13th from my apartment to my new homeIn doing so, one of the movers broke a light fixture in the hallway inside of my apartment when they were moving a cabinet out to the truckI spoke to the apartment manager and she stated I would be charged $to have it replaced after I turned my keys in for the final walk through for the apartmentI had to call several times in order to get my receipt, which I finally received via email on June 26thI asked about my refund and he said he would put it in the mail that dayIt was never receivedI again inquired about my $refund on July 5th, 7th, and July 24thI was told they had sent the refundNever came! When I called back yet again I was told they sent it to Spruce Street but they confirmed my address with me everytime I calledThey said they would issue another refund, still nothingI called back on August 1st and left ANOTHER message about my refundI

First, the vehicle used by the movers was in such terrible shape that it probably should not have even been on the roadThey claim to shrink wrap all your items and they did not do anyA service they offer is to disconnect/reconnect appliancesThey moved my washer and dryer without bringing any of the hoses needed to install themMy husband and I brought them alongThen mover installed them and said they were "ready to go"When I attempted to use them, the washer flooded my 2nd story laundry room and soaked all my carpetThe mover never connected a discharge hoseWhen I reached out to them about the issue, they initially ignored meTwo days later I inquired againThey refuse to return phone calls but *** messages me to say "must have been a misunderstanding" end of story

I hired Verlys to move an eliptical machine from one house to the basement of another house When they arrived at the new house, they insisted that the machine would not fit down the stairs unless it was unassembled I hired another company for $to unassemble the machine and move it down the stairs They moved it WITHOUT TAKING IT APART Contacted Verlys who asked for proof I sent them documentation from the second moving company and they ignored my emails Also did minor damage to pieces of furniture they moved and put a dent in a stair

We hired Verlys Pro Moving for a full service move on June 11, 2018, from Somonauk to Normal, ILWe received a confirmation voicemail (which I have saved) the day before stating that the truck and movers would arrive at am They did not show, they did not call to inform us that they were going to be late or could not make it, they did not return my numerous voicemails or emails My husband drove to Marseilles and found the business address to be a residence, where no one there could answer questions or helpNot following through with their commitment really put us in a bind since we were to close on the house two days laterVERY DISSATISFIED with the lack of service from this company

Very Professional Movers and they completed my move start to finish within hours time frameIt really was a big bang for the buckI hired them through the movinghelp website and total move was only $bucks wow it was well worth it and I will recommend to friends and family for sureTom and Beau really went out of their way and they was so kind and Professional just made my move very easy and stress freeThey was like one of the family from start to finish and they even set up our beds and dining room table for us also which was a big plus for usI left a review on movinghelp also but think they deserve a star review here alsoSo once again great service and I totally recommend these guys and you should ask for Tom and Beau they was awesome movers! Great service and customer support at *** thats where I found them

I hired this business to provide labor to load a moving truckI hired two guys, for two hours and paid for unlimited plastic wrapping on my furnitureI did not get moving blankets through the business but provided ample blankets for furniture of neededThe movers rushed the whole job, ran out of plastic wrap leaving my items improperly protected and they chose not to use the blanketsThey said given the size of the truck and the number of items, the blankets were not necessaryThey movers left without completing the job and had to be called back to return and finishThe left rugs, pictures, and tables still in the main room of the apartmentThere were several other things like leaving screws on the carpet, leaving screws in the bedroom hardware, putting light bulbs in a popcorn bag (which I found later when going to eat)The screws from the headboard scratched a concrete table, other items badly scratched a leather couchLamp shades were marked up and crackedA shelving unit

We scheduled and pre-paid $to have a safe moved on 10/12/ Verlys never showed up or called After many unanswered phone calls we emailed them requesting a refund for the job that was never done We received one email back from Verlys stating they would refund the full amount As of today 02/08/we have not received that refund and they do not answer our phone calls Our last email to Verlys was dated 01/25/remains unanswered

We hired the company for two movesOne to move out of our home into a POD and than two days later to move our belongings from the POD to our new homeThere was NO protective material to pack our furniture except for one piece of cardboard to not scratch our washer which was the suggestion of my husbandWe were paying by the hour and there was no hurry on our sideI budgeted for four hours but I did not trust the movers with anything glass and/or fragile so we cut them off before the two hour mark which I had to pay the full two hours even though I did not use themI did not know the extent of the damage until their movers on Saturday opened the POD and were asking us who packed the POD and were surprised to find it was there company because they said they have never seen someone at their company pack with such carelessnessOur refrigerator was scratched, our brand new washer was cracked and my daughters dresser was indented in multiple spotsWood was place on wood with no barrie

I booked a long distance move with this company at the end of MayI paid my invoiceI was notified that my payment was received and my dates were confirmedI was scheduled to move Wednesday June 13thI called the company plus times on June 12th to find out when they were comingAt times the phone went straight to a voicemail box that was fullAt one point, I was able to leave a messageI tried to reach the company several times on the date on my moveI sent them a message through their company ***k and they replied "Hello, sorry business has temp closed downEveryone will who made a payment will receive a refund in to business days." Such poor customer service, I tried to contact their office several times prior to this and was told by the receptionist I would receive a call later that day and I never didThey are unreliable and have the poorest customer service I have ever experiencedI am now scrambling to find a company to move me thanks to Verly'sThey willing took my money but could not even give me a phone call to notify me they were not comingI am not confident they will return my money so I have filed a dispute with my credit card companyAvoid them at all costs!!

Scheduled moving services to be performed on 07/- services were previously paid in full prior to services being performedReceived emailed receipt and voicemail confirming services to be performed on 07/- expected arrival for services was 9:00am - receiving call around 8:45am from driver stating movng truck had difficuties but were in route expected to arrive at 10:15am - services never showed upCall both driver's cell phone and business phone to get clarification and estimated arrival timeEventually was able to contact Christin (Office Manager) she informed me services could not be performed on original date scheduled for serviceI proceeded to schedule services with another moving companyI emailed and called leaving messages regarding no longer needing service and providing me with a full refund for services I paid for but never receivedBusiness has not responded to any of my messagesI believe business screens incoming calls

If I could give a zero I would!!! What a terrible companyNever showed to a scheduled appt a at a friends of ours on thursdays then never showed to our scheduled appt either a week later that also was scheduled weeks priorOnce we finally got someone to answer the phone three hours past the scheduled appt they *** messaged us saying that they were not coming and need to find someone else!! Beware and stay far away from this company!

Professional movers arrived on time at 9am on December 4th and loaded and unloaded us within 6 hours time frame. I was happy with the service they provided me and will use again if needed for my next move.
They took great care of our furniture making sure not to scratch no walls or damage anything at all. They was very professional with us and our family. I highly recommend!
