This account has been resolved and [redacted] has been outreached. 2016 plan was originally renewed without the new income change therefore [redacted] was billed at the higher amount. Change was then processed, however took 2 billing cycles before invoicing was accurate. Billing now correctly reflects...

the amount due on the account. I spoke with our [redacted] reps as well and the letter that [redacted] received was not a termination letter, but a grace period letter because at this time the carrier also showed the higher premium amount was needed. The carrier is now also showing the correct premium amount and advised that this customer was not terminated and is no longer showing in a grace period. As far as the 1095A goes, it is accurate and a corrected 1095A is not needed.Only the premiums allocable to essential health benefits are reported on the 1095A per IRS.  The below info is from the 1095A instructions.  Column A. This column is the monthly premiums for the plan in which you or family members were enrolled, including premiums that you paid and premiums that were paid through advance payments of the premium tax credit. If you or a family member enrolled in a separate dental plan with pediatric benefits, this column includes the portion of the dental plan premiums for the pediatric benefits. If your plan covered benefits that aren't essential health benefits, such as adult dental or vision benefits, the amount in this column will be reduced by the premiums for the non-essential benefits. If the policy was terminated by your insurance company due to nonpayment of premiums for one or more months, then a -0- will appear in this column for these months regardless of whether advance credit payments were made for these months. This being said, Column A usually differs from what the customer actually paid by less than $1.00. This case has been resolved.
