These folks were a lifesaver for me and my daughter, when we had been manipulated to move to BC from ON by our abuser. He then abandoned us in BC, once he began preying on other women, once I cut him off financially. Most horrific experience of our lives! We didn't realize it at the time, but now do. He was a skilled Sociopath/Narcissist. Transition House----the counselling side and support groups saved us. LITERALLY. They offered us comfort and understanding at a time no one else did. They advised us well, and were entirely professional and understanding. 3 years have passed and I have pulled my life together [redacted]
