Review: I recently received my car back from getting repossessed. and I am currently dealing with the chemo treatment and working. When I spoke to all the millions of people at veros credit who were attempting to help me everyone was telling me something different. Then I had one point of contact and he misinformed me aswell. Right now I am trying to pay my car payment but they call more that 6 times a day and they called my job without my authorization to call my job which now I just got in trouble for because it is marked as a personal call. I never authorized them to call my job. I sent a email to veros credit per their contact us asking what the total balance due is including the $900 payment I made in June. When I listened to my voicemail they said that I owed $1400. I called in and asked for proof that I owe $1400 in delinquency and I never received anything via email or mail. I just keep getting voicemails. I signed a document that they had me sign to push my payments back one month and that did not even happen. I did not even have possesion of the vehicle and they were already calling me for payments. When the car got repoed I paid what they said to pay and it took 2 weeks to get my car back and right now they are stressing me with the millions of phones calls everyday where I cant get my thoughts in. instead of calling why wont they send the breakdown as I asked for in the beginning so I can hopefully pay the car off in full so I dont have to deal with them anymore. Im going through Chemo do you know what all this stress does to a person going through chemo therepy? I know I signed for the vehicle but with all of what happened because of their mistake I figured that they would hold there word on when I signed the document saying to add the payment to the end of the contract. They even said they were going to help lower the payments. I am currently getting my cash together to pay the vehicle but I want a breakdown of my account as I asked from the start.Desired Settlement: I would like a billing adjustment to remove the late fees because they failed to provide a breakdown of my account and they have even said not to go by the website amount because it is always wrong. I would also like this not reported to the credit agency because I paid the same time they took my car and yet it took them 2 weeks to get my car back and there was property missing. I want a breakdown and I want to know where the $900 went that I paid.

Dear Complaint Department:

Review: They called my family and they kept harassing them asking them for my account info and being very rude about it. I had traded my car for another car thru different finance company and they were requesting a payoff info. When I got that info from the other company I called back and spoke to a csr by name [redacted] and was rude then I spoke to his supervisor by name of [redacted] and was treated very poorly by her. Calls are recorded I was told by another customer service rep that I spoke to later on and I was told [redacted] the supervisor was upset because my payment was late when I no longer had the car I finance thru them anymore And to top it off the fees of this loan I had goes up daily, something that I was not aware off. I was told I would pay a certain amount on the contract but with this company I get charge more fees that I did not agree so the payoff my old car went from 10500 in a matter of weeks to 10600. Very upset that I did business with this company that had ripped me off.!!!Desired Settlement: Would want this company to be shut down And I don't want to pay no more fees since they want to charge me for whatever the other bank did not cover in fees since the fees keep going up daily And they told me I would be liable for extra fees.

Dear Complaint Department:

Review: I've been paying off a car that Veros credit had financed for almost 2 years now, and my car payment is due every first of the month, but if I don't pay the car payment on the 1st, the company calls my cell phone non stop if I don't make the car payment on the first they call me non stop the following day which would be the 2nd of the month, I have never missed a car payment nor have I ever payed late fees for being late because I always pay the car the 2nd or 3rd day after the payment is due, they call and say that they won't except a late fee and say they're going to pick up the car, I don't understand why they would even have a late fee if they're going to threaten customers about making a payment or else they will pick up the car. Also, when I speak to someone about the car they demand the car payment over the phone but I usually always pay the bill online because if I pay it over the phone it's an extra 10$, I don't feel comfortable giving vital information over the phone but always feel like I have to or else they will pick up my car . This didn't happen the first year it's been happening for the last couple of months now and I would like to speak to someone about this issue.Desired Settlement: I don't appreciate the phone calls while I'm at work my phone is ringing non stop from the company and if I don't pick up the phone they call block,

Review: Vero's credit collection practices are very unusual. This company does not allow me to see an account statement with the charges for late payments and interest charges. However, my main complaint about this company is that they blocked my website account and do not allow me to make the payment on line. I spoke on the phone with 4 to 5 different people on December 17, 2014. One of them being a collector and he told me that "yes, my account was blocked because I was late with my payment, and that he was not going to allow me to make the payment of the website." He also told me that he could give me the options to pay over the phone (which they charge $9.95 and do not even disclose it to the customer) or go to 7/11 or somewhere else to make the payment. I had to pay $12.95 to Moneygram to make the payment. I had tried to make the payment for about 4 days after hours, but I couldn't. On the fifth day I was able to call during business hours and this day (the 17th) was the day I finally spoke to these different employees and which each of them told me somewhat different answers.edDesired Settlement: That this company learns and plays by the rules of the United States of America. 1) They need to tell customers they are going to be charged a fee when they pay over the phone. 2) Make statements available to the customers to see all the charges to their accounts such as interests, late fees, etc. 3) Have respect for their customers and speak to them in a courteous way, etc., etc., etc. Being late 10 or 20 or 30 days with the payments does not mean that customers need to be treated as if they were being contacted by a collection agency or being harassed by the workers of this company. Many Americans have lost their jobs or work hours have been cut, and being late to make the payment does not mean that we do not want to make the payment. I was cut 20 hours per week and it makes it harder to put the money together to make the payments. This is more than 80 hours per month. Thanks. I am almost done paying the car, it is only three more payments and I will try to make it in two

The details of this incident were forwarded to Veros Credit, LLC's Compliance Department where a full and thorough investigation into this matter was carried out. In certain situations, circumstances may arise in which Veros Credit may need to communicate to Ms. [redacted] prior to the customer making their next payment, including but not limited to inconsistent payment amounts or in the case of any suspected fraud. In that situation, the customer's account may not have online payment access in order to properly assist the customer. Review: I HATE THIS COMPANY!!!!! They are completely horrible!!!! They harass you till they cant harass anymore. I have told them when Im going to pay my car payment, because they call me 50 times a day and they still call me 50 times all the way up until the day that I said I would pay. I have been 30 days late ONCE in my entire time of business with them since November 2012. They used to harass me at work until I told them it was ILLEGAL to bother and keep calling and harass me at work. Even when I wasnt late, they would still call me everyday to ask when im gonna pay. You people are so extremely rude and inconsiderate and yall say your tying to help when all you are is jerks on the phone and you dont try to help anybody!!! You would think that in this terrible economy people would understand how hard it is to literally survive and would try to work something out but you people dont even give options!!!!! I am 23 with 2 jobs and I support both my fiance and I and I pay every single one of our bills, but somehow you refuse to help your customers, and instead get an extremely rude attitude and basically say if you dont pay were taking your car! For one payment?!? Please! Ive been called with lies and threats and that my car is going to get taken because my payment is a few days late, and again I have only been late more than 30 days ONE TIME!!! Which I'm pretty sure by law, as long as I am consistently paying my car and I am not late more than 30 days consecutively, theres not much you can do. I always make my payments and have never ever missed one. If I could refinance my car I would because I HATE this company. They are lowlife finance that preys on people with no money to give sy cars to that break down within the first 3 months. BS!!!! you people should be ashamed of yourselves!! Im paying 7000 on a car thats worth 2000. Seriously your harassing me over $3500?? Get a grip! An employee even told me they would lose their job if they didnt call me every single day. Get new managment or close!!Desired Settlement: If I am going to be late on a payment, I will call to tell you when I will be able to pay it, and after that leave me the hell alone!!!! Otherwise I will take further action against this company!

Case#:[redacted]

Dear Ms. [redacted]:

This letter is in response to yours, dated June 11, 2014, regarding a complaint filed by the

above-referenced customer.

Veros Credit prides itself in its excellent customer service, and has transferred Ms. [redacted]'s

account to another department for special handling. Ms. [redacted]'s account has been paid late twelve

out of the past sixteen payments, and she is currently two payments past due.

Per her contract, Ms. [redacted]'s car can be repossessed after payment is one day late, not thirty.

Furthermore, Veros Credit did not sell Ms. [redacted] a car, Veros Credit purchased her Retail

Installment Sales Contract, and any issues or disputes relating to her vehicle should be brought up

with the selling dealer.

We understand times can be difficult, and we strongly encourage Ms. [redacted] to contact our office

to discuss assistance that may be available to her to possibly prevent further default. Ms. [redacted]

can reach me directly at ###-###-#### if she has questions regarding her account. I look forward

to working with her.

Thank you for your consideration of the information above. Please do not hesitate to contact me if

you have any questions or comments as to the foregoing.

Review: My vehicle was involved in an auto accident, that was not my fault. The other parties insurance accepted 100% liability and agreed to repair our vehicle. At the time of the accident my vehicle was not drivable. The highway patrol towed my vehicle to Roadone Towing which is a tow yard contracted by the insurance company. Prior to the insurance company being able to inspect the vehicle for damages, my lein holder Veros Credit repossessed my vehicle. The question is why? Now there are additional charges on my account with my lein holder, which have been paid in full by me however; now the lein holder is refusing to release the vehicle to the insurance company who needs to tow the vehicle to a body shop to further investigate all damages prior to totaling out the vehicle and/or providing a complete estimate of damages. This has caused a huge inconvenience at my new job. I have incurred rental car fees that I have paid out of pocket because the insurance company will not pay for damages while the vehicle is in repossession and my vehicle has been sitting a Adesa Auction Lot in San Diego, CA since the lein holder picked up my vehicle. I have also been receiving letters from the lein holder advising that if the loan is not paid in full by a specific date that my vehicle will be sold or auctioned off by a specific date. I have been in communication with the lein holder daily and have received no help or answers with this matter. Why Veros Credit repossessed the vehicle I still not have received an answer for and Veros Credit says that the verbiage "repossession" is just a saying they use when gaining possession of their vehicle and that the vehicle has not actually be repossessed, yet they provided a legal DMV Repossession to Allstate Insurance, which is the at fault parties insurance company.Desired Settlement: I would like an explanation as to why they had to reposes the vehicle? Also, would like them to process a release of my vehicle so that the insurance company can tow the vehicle to the shop to further investigate the damages to be able to determine if the vehicle is a total loss and or can be repaired providing a complete estimate of damages. Refund of unreasonable fees in the amount of $200.00, which I have proof of payment for.

Dear Complaint Department:

Review: I have had an account with Veros Credit since Feb 14,2014. I have never missed a payment. I have been late but never refused to pay. Back in September of 2014 I got arrested for a DUI. While I was still in custody Veros Credit picked the vehicle up from Tow yard because they didn't think I was going to be able to pick up the vehicle. However upon my release I contacted them and they released the vehicle to me. At that time my balance for the vehicle was $14228.84. I have been making payments every month since September of 2014. For some reason my credit report shows the car was repossessed in September and the account was closed in September 2014. This isn't true I still have the car now. I have tried to resolve the issue with them. They are stating that I owe them $22,000 at this time which isn't possible because I have still been making payments. Their reason is because its a simple interest loan. But Ive done the math if with the interest that would only be an additional $10 per day. No where near the amount they are claiming. I can provide a receipt as proof which was provided to me from their headquarter office back on October 1st. They are claiming it to just be a accounting error and that I still owe them the full amount. Which doesn't make sense cause the original loan amount when I started was only $21,000Desired Settlement: I would like billing adjustment and the correct information reported to the credit to show my continued payments since September 2014 till now.

Revdex.com Complaint ResponseRe: [redacted]Account: [redacted]Complaint ID: [redacted]Dear Complaints Department:This is in response to your correspondence dated May 4, 2[redacted], regarding the complaint of the above mentioned customer. The details of this incident were forwarded to the Veros Credit Compliance Department where a full and thorough investigation into this matter was carried out.Mr. [redacted] expressed concerns regarding his account balance. Below I have indicated the various reasons for the increase in Mr. [redacted]’s account balance since the opening of the account.Payment FeesAfter a review of Mr. [redacted]’s account, it was discovered that there were multiple non-sufficient fund charges, late fees, and partial payments which have increased his account balance throughout the life of his account. Mr. [redacted]'s payments are payable on the 23rd of every month pursuant to the vehicle retail installment contract signed by Mr. [redacted]. Veros Credit offers many options to assist its customers through financial hardships, including extensions, temporary payment reductions and due date changes and Mr. [redacted] is strongly encouraged to continue to communicate with this office should he find himself in need of assistance.Repossession FeesVeros Credit has the obligation to protect its interest in all vehicles which it holds legal interest in. When Veros Credit is notified that one of its vehicles has been repossessed in an effort to avoid incurring additional storage fees, an employee will begin an investigation of the location and status of the vehicle. If it is determined that the customer is not going to pick up the vehicle from the tow yard, Veros Credit will repossess the vehicle to avoid further charges. In this case, Mr. [redacted]’s vehicle was impounded by government authorities following a DUI arrest. Veros Credit was notified of this impound and began all efforts to contact Mr. [redacted]. After several unsuccessful attempts to contact Mr. [redacted], Veros Credit picked up the vehicle from the tow yard to prevent the accrual of additional storage fees. All impound and repossession fees were added to Mr. [redacted]’s account which as a result increased his account balance. This increase of fees was explained to Mr. [redacted].Insurance FeesAnother charge added to Mr. [redacted]s account balance after the opening of his account was an insurance charge. Mr. [redacted] entered into a retail installment sale contract for the purchase of his vehicle under which it was agreed to that:"You agree to buy property insurance on the Vehicle protecting against loss and physical damage and otherwise acceptable to us." . . . "If you fail to obtain or maintain this insurance . . . we may obtain insurance to protect our interest in theVehicle . . ." . . ."We will add the premium for this insurance to the amount you owe us. Any amount we pay will be due immediately. This amount will earn finance charges from the date paid at the rate described in the FINANCE CHARGE AND PAYMENTS section until paid in full."Veros Credit did place insurance on the above referenced vehicle after Mr. [redacted] failed to do so, in order to protect its interest. The premium for the insurance was then amortized over the life of the contract, at the contract interest rate, and Mr. [redacted]'s payment was adjusted accordingly. Once Mr. [redacted] cancelled the policy, the unearned premiums were refunded on a pro-rata basis, and Mr. [redacted]'s payment was again adjusted. However, the earned premiums remain on the account for the time period in which was insured, and are spread throughout his remaining payments under the contract. As a courtesy, Veros Credit has reduced Mr. [redacted]’s principle balance in order to assist Mr. [redacted] in lowering his monthly payment. This account balance modification has been verbally explained to Mr. [redacted] by the Compliance Department. Please do not hesitate to contact Veros Credit if you have any questions or comments as to the foregoing at (714) 210-6913. Thank you for taking the time to contact Veros Credit.Sincerely,Veros Credit, LLC

Review: I have paid my car loan with Veros Credit in full but they have withdrawn $269.00 from my bank account twice since. Each time I call them to refund my money they are very rude and it takes up to 7 days before the money is put back into my bank account. This has caused me to overdraw my bank account and they will not refund the fee.My car loan is paid in full, yet they are still withdrawing the funds. I have tried to work with them but they do not care it is costing me time and money.Desired Settlement: I would like them to stop taking money out of my account that is not due to them.

Dear Dispute Department:

Review: I received a call that my payment was due so I asked for an Extension until my next pay date which is 05/30/14. The young lady mentioned a late fee so I asked if it can be waived as a courtesy due to not missing or never had late payment before, she transferred me to "manager" and she was the most Unprossional, Unethical, horrible experience I have ever had. She asked why I was not able to pay? did you lose your job? did something happend? she asked for all my information, not once said her name she wasnt letting me talk when I asked what all the questions were for she said to verify so I asked to to inform my that way I would have to ask, She then said NO I am not waiving the late fee, you shouldnt of signed something you couldnt pay. She was not allowing me to talk was laughing very loud when I asked if the call are being monitored then she asked me to come to Santa Ana to talk in person.I think it is unfortunate that companies like this do not know what type of service their employees are offering. I will never ever again and neither will I recccomend this finance company to anyoneDesired Settlement: They should monitor their call so they can be aware of the type of unethical employees are being hired

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE WOULD I RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE VEROS CREDIT. It is unacceptable that I waited 1 1/2 months for them to call me back in regards to my truck. While waiting to hear back from Veros Credit, I continued to make my payments because I didn't want it to affect me negatively in the future. Finally after demanding a representative to put a manager on the line, and stating that I will be contacting a lawyer "magically" someone was available. I can't explain how many negative reviews I have seen on other sites in regards to this company, I wish I would have read them prior to using them to finance my truck. I would rather use public transportation or walk before I have to finance a vehicle through this company again. It sucks that they treat customers like me (a person that makes payments on time and actually intended to pay it off in a year) with so little respect.

Review: Veros credit is breaking the law by holding my car illegally after all payments have been paid... They have held my vehicle s 500 Mercedes Benz since Nov. 29, 2013.. I paid $1,242.00 to release my vehicleand they have not contacted me in rregards to.pick up my vehicle. Payment was made on the Jan.2, 2014and here we are on Jan. 6, 2014 and they refuse to give me my car upon request after request. Ms. [redacted] states that her vehicle was not

subject to a police hold and that she paid all amounts due to get her car back.

However, at the time of the repossession, there was a police hold and money due and owing on her account. Both issues have since been resolved and

Review: I have not been late with Vero's Credit in a couple of months. My payment was due on 04/25/2014 and I made half the payment on 05/01/2014. I advised them that I cannot make the rest until 05/09/2014 and they keep saying that they cannot approve that and that I need to borrow money from someone or else they will pick up my vehicle. They have called my place of employment and were rude with the receptionist and provided her with information. My mother is I the emergency room pending surgery and I went ahead and advised them of this. I am going to pay I will only be late for 14 days/ I paid 1/2 within 7 days. I don't understand why they are soo rude and provided my work with my information on what I haven't paid on. Not sure if this is legal. All I want is for them to wait a couple more days for my payment. My husband and I contacted them on 05/02 when they received 1/2 payment in their office and again today 05/05/2014 which they are threatening to pick up the car. I want to show proof that everything to set something up with them has been accomplished.Desired Settlement: I want to show proof that everything to set something up with them has been accomplished.

Customer Service Liaison

Review: Im getting harassed By phone calls every month from veris credit. My car note is due on the 19th and they start calling me on the 20th of every month. They call me everyday until it get paid. So I called and asked them why am I getting calls a day after my due date and they said collection starts to call the day after. So I told them I be at work and if I pick up the phone and tell them they keep talking and asking me when will it get paid. They told me I will keep getting the calls unless I call before my due date and set up an arrangement. But I should have a grace period and during that time the harassing phone calls could be stopped.Desired Settlement: To only call me once they dont receive a payment pass my grace period.

Response:

Dear Complaint Department:

Review: I called during my grace period to inform Veros credit that I wouldn't be able to make a payment until the 22nd. I was told that I needed to borrow a loan or do something to get the money. I was cut off and rudely treated on all calls in the collections department. I made the payment on the 14th although I didn't have the money. I have since made payments to them for 3 months now. I called today on 7/16 to have calls stop at my employment. The individual female informed me that she would just note it, but doesn't have to remove it. I informed her I cannot have calls and was rude. I have yet to find a nice representative on this line. I informed her of the violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and she informed me that it doesn't apply to her. I asked if her company was the only one, she then said no and then said she will note it. I informed her that she still needed to remove the phone number. She refused to remove it.

§ 805. Communication in connection with debt collection [15 USC 1692c]

3) at the consumer's place of employment if the debt collector knows or has reason to know that the consumer's employer prohibits the consumer from receiving such communication.

According to this, this person is in violation and must refrain from calling me at work. I informed the person that I could be fired because I cannot receive calls at my place of employment. She informed my job that it had to do with my vehicle. Again insinuating to my employer that I had a debt. She then called a friend of mine because I used her phone to call them and processed to harass my friend, when my friend had no idea what was going on. I want this kind of practice to stop and the reassurance that my employment will not be called. If this is not resolved I will leverage my right under the Fair Debt Practices Act and write a letter to this company that all phone calls be ceased and communication be only done in writing.

Thank you

[redacted]Desired Settlement: I want these kind practices prohibited. We did not choose Veros Credit, the car dealership handed them to us. We entrusted and invested money into them so with that should be treated with the kind of customer service that we deserve. Every case is different and simply not just a $ made. We have struggles but having a heart simply will make the difference.
