A tiny bathroom remodel not only took eight weeks but ended with Extremely sloppy workThey showed up around 10am and ended their day at approximately 3pm with an hour lunch break in the middle Incompetence such as having an entire wall done, then having the electrician come in only to tear it apart for them to start over again Every day was one step forward two steps backwardsAt one point I was threatened by them not to come back at all without giving them their final payment during a time the owner was in the hospital due to a medication mishap or so was told to meAt that point my bathroom look like a complete bomb went off and they're demanding a final payment! That is when I had to speak to my lawyerIt took them an entire day sitting at my kitchen table reading directions on how to install the shower doorTen hours! The longest day they workedOne day they installed a light switch plate....only to tell me later they couldn't find another matching oneI now have two different decorative plates but that's the least of my issuesNo wall is even or without major blemishes, sloppy cuts on tile, uneven grout, the list is longThe laborer was a nice man but was left without direction from the ownerHe constantly apologized while the owner John just came up with more excusesI have videos and photos of the disaster they created and somewhat patched up in the endThe most unfortunate part about it was my step father had passed away and left me some money and this is how I chose to use it
The company was hired in early Novto refinish half of my basement, a project that was to be done before Christmas My major concern with the project was taking care of the water that was getting in the basement before the project started & I was told it would be taken care of The cohad some guys come & start the framing and still nothing was done about the water issues I had spoke with *** about my concerns with the water on 12/14/i was told the water would be taken care of before they started the drywall On 1/14/& 1/19/I again asked *** about the water issues because they wanted to continue to finish framing and moving forward but I was concerned that the water issue was still not being addressed All work completely stopped after that and nothing has been done since I have contacted the owner *** many times since then via text & phone calls asking what is going he keeps telling me next week I promise, next week All summer I have h
*** *** and *** *** of 'the Johnson Group' were hired to rebuild our heavily damaged home after the severe February weather w/excessive amounts of snow and ice damsThe Johnson Group fraudulently promised to repair all the water damage to our homeAfter paying them $15,on 12/21/they spent just a few days demo/gutting out of rooms (including full baths and kitchen)They left our home gutted 12/30/2016, leaving a 20' dumpster in our driveway and never returned They stated that $15,covered the demolition onlyThey left our home inhabitable, removing/stealing major appliances, all plumbing and fixtures and turning off our heating system which caused many pipes to burst! My family of plus pets have spent the past months in a hotelOur home was left in deplorable condition by the Johnson GroupNow w/ minimal insurance funds left over we have hired a reputable contractor and hope that some of this extensive damage from the harsh winter and
