My vehicle became inoperable twice. I had a diagnostic performed and the Kill Switch was damaged. I requested reimbursement from Versa. They said no.
The Kill Switch should not have been a problem because I was not behind nor late with my car payments. The Kill Switch was malfunctioning which was not my fault and I had to pay out $323.25 for diagnostics on my car to find out problem.
I have requested a refund from Versa Finance for the diagnostics at Salisbury Chrysler Company. The Problem date was April 7. My vehicle is 2012 Chrysler 200. Contact person is

Desired Outcome

I would like to be reimbursed for the $323.25 that I had to pay to have the Kill switch removed from my car.

Customer had been instructed to call our authorized vendor in her area to check the device and she did not do that. She took to the dealer. We had not done anything to the device to cause her car not to be working. Our vendor went to the dealer and removed the device at no cost to the customer. We paid for that even though he charged us for the travel to the dealer as well. As we were not notified that she was taking the vehicle to the dealer, and did not authorize that, we are not going to pay for it. This is covered in the GPS disclosure form that customer signed when purchasing the vehicle.

As of last month versa finance company have removed my account from the credit bureau and I'm still paying my car payment. And its current

We have not removed the customer from the credit report. We have not reported November or
December activity at this time. We will be doing so this week. Perhaps that is what needs to happen for customer to see activity.

I dont know what going on with versa finance or Revdex.com but I do know he removed my car account from the credit bureau and that illegal and im going to pursue charges against whoever for this. I dont accept you didnt report it in November you removed the whole account from the credit report as you see by proof I sent in. Im going to research all your practices because something is not right.

They turned my car off for an entire weekend although I sent them everything they needed from me.
Let me start by saying the people who work for this company are very rude and ill mannered people. Except for maybe 2 people and one just retired. They cut my car off because they said that my insurance did not show that my vehicle was covered and I told them that my vehicle was covered and that my husband was at work in the car and needed to get home. When I contacted my insurance company they also stated that the car had been covered since I got the policy and that Versa should not have cut my car off. My insurance company sent the decoration page to versa and versa kept saying they did not get it while also being rude. This resulted in the person at my insurance company saying that I should no longer be financed with them and to seek legal counsel. I have recently had a death in the family and now my car is cut off for the whole weekend because I Was told that I wasn't covered under my insurance and I sent the information stating that I was and they still cut my car off. Now I can't go bury my uncle or my husband cant go to work Monday because Versa is closed on weekends with no emergency number. This is wrong and inhumane because what if we were stuck out of town? I missed time with my family because I didnt have a vehicle to travel in.

Desired Outcome

I would like for this place to stop treating their customers like trash, also I would like for them to think of the circumstances of their customer before they cut their vehicles off especially for issues that the customers are doing their parts to resolve. I am working from getting from under this company and if I have to seek legal counsel I will because this is wrong.

I have reviewed the customers complaint and investigated how we dealt with the issues of insurance and payment on her account. Valid insurance in place is a requirement of the loan and we have to be able to verify. Customers car was turned off when we could not prove coverage and was turned on as soon as we had proof of coverage. Often insurance agencies say they have sent information to us yet we don't have it. It is the customers responsibility to be sure we get the information timely. In the case of the customer I can find no where that we had information proving coverage when her car was turned off. Her agency can not provide proof of sending the information to us at the time her car was turned off. I have had detailed conversations with my collections team about how to treat customers with respect and have recently even made some staff changes regarding this. Even though we have customers that can be very rude themselves that is not how my employees are to respond so this has been addressed. All incoming calls are monitored for these responses and I have listened to the ones regarding this issue and corrected my employees where I thought they could of handled the situation better. I am truly sorry for any inconvenience that the customer incurred related to the issue, but again without insurance we have no collateral should the car be totaled and the customer would still be liable for the loan and not have anything to drive. This generally does not turned out good for the customer or us.

The main reason I do not accept this response is because I know when I call again there will be someone who is rude on the phone. Also my husband went in from work to pay the car note and while he was waiting he was told he would have to step back on the mat because his work boots were dirty and the guy told him " I would offer you a seat but you're dirty" after my husband had worked a 12 hour shift. I know this may be a stupid reason to complain but it really makes no sense how mean the people are at this business and it makes you not want to have even 1 civilized conversation with them.

Not sure how to address the concerns of the customer other than to have them ask for the owner, next time they come in so that I can be sure they are treated as any of our customers should be. I am sorry that the customer continues to have problems and I am committed to resolving them.

Versa took money from my account after being notified not to proceed. I called them and sent 2 emails.
The car I had financed with versa was traded in to all star Dodge of denim springs I notified versa with a phone call and to cancel my future auto payments. I had also sent 2 emails 2 Lisa brownfield and Lisa Mckeithen to cancel my auto pay that was on Feb 25 I was assured no more payments would be drafted from account on a car that I no longer own. March 8th they took payment $333.00.

Desired Outcome

I have had nothing but problems with this finance company I have never not 1 time been late they have cut my vehicle off 3 times for faults of there own I have never let insurance lapse. I am a member of the armed forces I have *** For 20 years I want the payment they took from me X2 or I will be seeking legal action against them.

I have followed up on this complaint. The request to have the draft stopped was not signed by the customer so we did not have proper authority to do so. Pay off of the vehicle was made and there is now a $376.76 over payment due back to the customer that will be mailed next week. The threat of legal action does not help to resolve the problem. Again legally we do not have the proper paperwork to do what he requested so if we had done it we would be in violation of the law. I am sorry the customer is upset but the refund will be mailed to him and his account is closed.

The people at versa I have spoke with have always been very helpful. I apologize if I made it look like that. There policies and practices is they need improvment upon. The ability for me to personally call and verify I am who I say I am to cancel an auto draft should be enuff. The paper I had filled out I signed where applicable. I don't know who or what a direct buyer is. I googled it and it for *** furniture sales and stuff. My purchase was for a car, maybe the cancel draft needs an update to say account holder sign here.

I have had my car since September. I ask every single time I call to make a payment why this car is not on my credit. I have many other issues as well.
My car is still not on my credit. Every time I call to make a payment I ask them why. My interest rate is almost 50% . IT SHOULD BE ON MY CREDIT. I was told when I sign the contract it would be on my credit. Everyone at the car dealership told me if I make my payments on time in 6 months my credit will go up. Every time I call they are rude, every time I call they never know what they are doing, every time I call they say one thing and do another. I WANT my car on my credit .

Desired Outcome

For them to lower my interest rate because I pay on time every time and this is ridiculous since they have waited so long to put this on my credit. To put the car on my credit as well and report that I have made 100% on time payments.

We do remit our payments to Equifax. Sometimes if a consumer has made an inquiry with the bureau regarding us, the payment information is blocked until that inquiry is resolved. I believe this may be the issue with this consumer. We do not have control of what happens once the information is remitted to the bureau. They should follow up from their end if they have done so to remove their complaint so the information will flow through on their credit report. In regards to the interest rate, this is the rate that the consumer agreed to upon getting the loan. If they believe they can get a better rate with another lender then I encourage them to refinance with the other lender.
