wheel bearing was $86.07 and the job took 4 hours of labor at $80 per hour.In January 2015, we were again contacted by Ms. [redacted] who told us of her troubles while out of town. Her vehicle had started to make the same noise it had before she had brought it to our shop. She had it towed and a dealership replaced the left side wheel bearing, left side axle shaft, and hub. We extended our sympathies and offered to refund the money she had paid our shop for the wheel bearing that had failed (the part and the labor) which came to $246.07. Ms. [redacted] agreed and arranged to pick up a check. We, in turn, filed a complaint with our parts supplier as we told her we would. As far as we were aware, the issue had been resolved. Ms. [redacted] expressed no dissatisfaction with the refund that had been agreed upon.When we had spoken in January, we had asked Ms. [redacted] if her towing had been covered and she said that it had been covered by her AAA membership.
