Review: On June 5th 2013 I arrived at Versatile Hairstyling in [redacted] PA at approximately 1:20pm. Prior to services I discussed what I wanted and also verified by showing a clearly vivd photo of the colors. I asked for a full head of highlights with blonde and a RB lowlight. Specifically. The owner [redacted]. listened and saw the photo as well. The stlyist, [redacted] , did not place the highlights properly and did not use the proper color. I also stated please dont turn my hair gold I will cry. Upon rinsing it out , it was gold. She then double processed my hair with bleach (which u are never supposed to do). My hair was still gold. At this point chemical damage and breakage has been done to my hair. I am in tears inside the salon. Tanja then comes over to the shampoo bowl and stated as shes picking through my wet hair, " ummm yeah....this color needs lifted and she needs more blonde in here." At which point im furious. By this time it is 4:30pm.. She then stated " well I have shape ups to do, you can come back at 7pm and ill fix it" I said "im angry , I need to go outside. I sat in my car , looked in my rearview and took my first look at my hair. And started crying again.... I then went in the salon took the cape off said" I cant believe u [redacted] my hair up ! Look how damaged it is and ITS GOLD!... Im leaving ." I grabbed my purse and left... Mind you, she wanted to TRIPLE PROCESS my hair with bleach that was they already damaged and breaking from the two previous rounds......2 hours later I had state police knocking on my door threatening to arrest me for theft of services. My neighbors, landlord, my son, all wondering why police are at my house. Embarrassing. I never once refused to pay for services. She had my contact information and instead of calling me to try and resolve the issue , she called the police. My hair was damaged, fried, and colored improperly. They did not perform the services agreed upon, why should I pay?Desired Settlement: I believe they should be required for the payment to fix the damage and the color at another local salon. I was clear about what I wanted. She verbally confirmed it was not done correctly and risked my career by sending police to my home to try and have me arrested due to THEIR mistake. I am also considering filing suit
