This customer is not being truthful with this case which is very disappointing. We have a complete email trail detailing the facts of our interaction with this customer and have attached them.
This customer was shipped the exact product that...

he ordered but once he received it he realized he ordered the wrong part for his gun. His order was placed at 9:30pm on Friday 5/20 and delivered to him with tracking on 1:50pm on Monday 5/23. On Monday after receiving his order, he emailed us asking if he could exchange the part he ordered for ones that would fit his gun and he had to ask us which ones he should order because he didn't know what he needed. We responded to his email within an hour and let him know what part would work for him and we provided an RMA # and instructions for the return and exchange process. Once we received back the part that he originally ordered it was inspected per our return and RMA policy and we found that there were obvious signs of the part being used/installed as there are areas of the finish with obvious scratches that normally occur during installation and use but are not on parts shipped in new condition. We have side by side photos of the part he returned next to the same part that is brand new in our inventory as proof.
Per our return policy (https://www.vertexops.com/Articles.asp?ID=270) we except return/exchanges with a restocking fee for items that are in new condition. We do not accept returns/exchanges for used or installed parts. We even made an exception and offered to give him a credit toward the exchange for [redacted] of the value of the damage part he returned but he didn't want to accept that.
Just minutes prior to receiving notification that this customer submitted a Revdex.com case on Thursday May 26, 2016 we refunded the customer's credit card in the amount of [redacted] which is the value he would have been credited if the part was returned to us in new condition. It is ** off the purchase price of [redacted]
Since we have provided a refund beyond what is stated in our return policy for damaged items, we are keeping the damaged part he returned to us and respectfully refuse to do any further business with this customer.

I have also attached a pdf file containing several pages including the email exchange between our customer service and this customer which very clearly shows he didn't know what he needed and he wanted to do an exchange because he ordered the wrong part. Not that we shipped him something other than exactly what he ordered.
Also included are a receipt showing the refund to his credit card, a copy of the invoice from his order, pictures of the part he sent back to us with the damage shown next to a brand new part, and tracking history showing his order was shipped and delivered.
