Yes I am very disappointed Johns Friend complained on Yelp especially because the I did no business with herShe has not ordered anything or even spoken to meYes I refunded John for the doors but No where in the factory Communication does it say they are faulty or John would receive a refundI refunded John under Threat of complaintThere was one of the replacement doors the factory sent that was damaged in shippingHowever I did prior tell John to uninstall the doors and reinstall them after shaving the concrete in the middle of both doors because his do it yourself method left a high spotThe factory was just trying to make John happy alsoSo Again if John ( John must deliver doors we will not pick them up ) returns the doors with a appointment and the doors are faulty then of course John can have a refundHowever if John returned the doors and we test them and the doors work properly then there is no refund dueAlso as John has said the doors have been in his home almost yearJohns concerns were not brought up till months after the doors were purchased and delivered.This makes these doors used and not fit for resaleSo as long as John makes a appointment so I can have my foreman available and John returns the doors and they are not broken or damaged so I can have them tested right in front of himThen if we find them faulty John will receive a refundThe refund will be for the purchase price less any CC fee's and Taxes which are funds we do not get to keepJust a short note I would like to say in plus years of being a Contractor in Hawaii and installing Vinyl doors I have never received a defective door from any factory and have never had a door returned Matthew H [redacted] General Contractor/President Tropical Wholesale IncTell us why here

Mr [redacted] did purchase and order windows from Tropical WholesaleHowever the factory did not send us of because there was a issue as it was a special/special size and needed the factory engineers approvalThe factory did not tell us so we did not find this out till of the windows arrivedI told this to Mr [redacted] and he just was upset and said he wanted his deposit returnedI told Mr [redacted] I would call him back when I had the info on the arrival of the third window so we could installMr [redacted] was not happy with this and now has made a complaintTropical's answer is: 1) There are no refunds on deposits for custom ordered windowsThis is written in bold print right below where Mr [redacted] signed his order form2) There is also a clause in the Contract agreement Mr [redacted] signed that gives Tropical more time if something beyond our control happens and delay's product deliveryThis is a standard clause in all Construction contracts Options: 1) Tropical has windows in stock that are custom ordered for his aptThe third window is now being sent by the factoryIf Mr [redacted] is willing to pay the difference between the deposit amount and Tropical's cost of the windows and shipping he is welcome to themHe can then have someone else install the windowsThis would be no revenue to Tropical OR a LossYes Mr [redacted] made a $ deposit however the windows and shipping cost Tropical over $ This is the reason there are no refunds on deposits for custom ordered windows2) If Mr [redacted] is patient the 3rd window will arrive in approxweeks and Tropical can install all windows and follow through with the Contract These are the only options Tropical can offer Mr [redacted] I look forward to a response [redacted] President Tropical Wholesale Inc

Unfortunately MrT [redacted] did not return the doorsThis is a material only purchase so any consumer that would like a refund needs to return the itemsI really don't know why MrT [redacted] is upset however MrT [redacted] should contact me when he can to return materials and arrange for a refund Personally I looked at MrT [redacted] 's installation which was Not installed by a licensed Contractor and it was faultySo when he does return the items if they are not faulty Mr T [redacted] wii Not get a refund because it Does say on all our order form there is No deposit refund on all custom materials.These of course are custom doorsTropical always tries to help our customers but it just seems when the do it yourselfers install products they mostly mess things upThats for your inquiry and Aloha Matthew H [redacted] President / General Contractor Tropical Wholesale Tell us why here

The hotel is now a Bestwestern palm court ...When it was a Ramoda Inn I never had this sort of issueWhen I made a reservation though BW *** they gave the physical hotel my cc number to hold a room I stayed days paid cash at check in but at check out I had over $in
pending fees ,When I asked for them to release the hold at check out the said it would be a day hold because of my bankAfter calling my bank they told me no worries they would send over a fax to the hotel they could fill out so it could be released on the spot,There were only questions :1)your name 2) was I there 3) murchant id number .They would not give my bank their murchant id numberShe , *** told me she didn't fill comfortable giving that number to what she called a third party bank asked to speak to her manager the manager *** *** told me only the supervisor had this number and he was out of the country was not sure when he was returning.I then called every other day for two weeks was left on hold for very long time more then once, sometimes they never picked up,or was disconnected.By the third week I went to the hotel to rent a room thinking I might run into the general manager but I now was on the do not rent listAlthough they did release some money they did not release $so I would like that back. At the hotel, we do not accept cash at check in without a $deposit Cash can be paid at the time of check out if you check in with a credit card Mr*** used a prepaid card at check in The hotel only can authorize the card but has no way to release a hold Typically the card holder's bank releases these funds within 7-business days Because this is a prepaid card, it is taking much longer When Mr***'s bank sent the form to fill out, it did request our merchant number We cannot release that kind of information This would be equivalent to giving out a bank account number In addition, the form was asking us to authorize the release of several amounts, none of which matched any mounts in our system of the authorization Typically when someone uses a debit card, the same occurs and their bank will hold the funds We then tell the guest to have their bank call us and we will verbally verify the release of the funds We have done this numerous times and never have had to release our merchant ID, nor had to fax anything in writing We normally tell the bank we only need $____ dollars and any other hold can be released I am not sure why this hold is happening to Mr*** but it is literally out of our hands and these funds are not in the hotels bank account They are being held by the bank that issued the card for Mr*** We are happy to authorize the release of any funds not needed for his stay with us but we cannot release the merchant ID If there is anything more we can do we will be happy to do so. Thank you

I have scheduled with M/M A** ( This he wrote in his complaint ) for a 1/9/2017 install. I am really not sure why he would make a complaint because we scheduled this almost a month ago and this is our revised scheduled  agreement install date. Yes the factory left his windows in the mainland...

warehouse by mistake and did not load them on the container it was scheduled to ship to Hawaii on. So we needed 2 weeks more to ship them up. Our order form / contracts have a provision in them that covers mistakes beyond our control which I explained to Mr. A**. We have had Mr. A**'s windows in our warehouse for quite a while and are waiting for the 9 th to install. Again I am still not sure why Mr. A** would make this complaint when he set the install date himself because he did not want to be bothered during the Holiday's. Aloha Matt Tropical Wholesale Inc.

Unfortunately Mr. T[redacted] did not return the doors. This is a material only purchase so any consumer that would like a refund needs to return the items. This is the reason there are no refunds on deposits for custom ordered windows. 2) If Mr [redacted] is patient the 3rd window will arrive in approx. 2 weeks and Tropical can install all 3 windows and follow through with the Contract.                                                                                                                                             These are the only options Tropical can offer Mr. [redacted].
