After storm chasers came to our door night after night, we knew we would surely qualify for roof and siding replacement. We decided to explore local services first. So glad we did and are proud to have Vertex Restoration hold an office in Batavia. Salesman and co-owner Blake, met with us and explained his services in detail. Blake was professional and very patient with my many questions of detail and coverage. He was instrumental in coordinating with our Insurance agency, made that process so much easier. In the end, after weather delays and our vacation scheduling, the roof, siding and gutters were all replaced and installed exactly as anticipated. The crew for each were hard working and respectful of us as the home owner, cleaned the yard each night, worked long days. Impressive, as it was an extremely hot & humid week the whole install! I would highly recommend Vertex Restoration for your Roof & Siding needs. So many compliments from our family and neighbors!

My new Roof Experience was nowhere near all the BAD stories I had heard from friends and family. Blake was easy to work with and kept me up to date with what was going on with the Insurance and Home Owners
Association.
The work was completed on time, done with no problems on the Final Inspection by the Home Owners Association. Surrounding area of the home had all the metal garbage cleaned up using a magnetized Pick-Up Rake.
Of course, my selection of a roofer was that Blake is a Chicago *** fan!

First of all, I typically don't do reviews basically because I don't think people deserve them.
Dealing with Blake from Vertex Restoration change my mind about submitting a review. From initial contact, through the complete process, up, until and AFTER the work was finished, he was a consummate professional and brought commitment, competence and customer satisfaction to every facet of the work. His attention to detail was outstanding, his customer service was stellar, and running interference with my insurance company to alleviate that boring chore for me was worth it's weight in gold. He was able to "talk the talk" with them and provide exactly what was needed to the job which resulted in the job not being held up, paid on time and the deliverable was the highest quality.

After the work was finished by several months, I had occasion to call and both times, Blake came out personally, fixed the issues at hand and totally resolved them. Totally a commitment to customer satisfaction RARELY seen these days.

Having formerly been in the construction business, I can say without hesitation, that whatever your project, Blake at Vertex Restoration, should definitely be on your short list for estimates. You will be more than satisfied with your experience and your end result.

Everything was done well and efficient it was a good experience throughout.

Working with Vertex from the beginning was very different! I had a leaky roof and called four different roofing companies. One never showed up, and two others never went into my attic. When Vertex (Blake ***, company owner) showed up, the very first thing he did was inspected my attic and explained to me that you will never find a leaking roof from the top. After an internal and external inspection of my roof, it was determined that I did in fact have a damaged ridge vent. After speaking to Blake, I decided to make an insurance claim. Blake was there with me through the whole process of filing the claim. He and I talked about Vertex tarping my roof, but I decided against having the additional nail holes up there. So Blake himself left and ran out for caulk. He then returned to do the caulk job himself. After showing me pictures of what he had done, I was content. My insurance company re-scheduled my inspection numerous times, all of which Blake was here early and ready for their inspection. Finally on the day of the inspection, Blake was here again to do the walk thru with them and answer any questions they had. My adjustor did rely heavily on what Blake told them from a roof structural standpoint. In the end I was not granted a full roof replacement. After speaking to Blake I asked him what I owed him so far, and he said “NO CHARGE.” I was shocked and highly impressed that he would spend so much time out here and caulking at no charge.
I did decide to do a full roof replacement with Vertex. Blake was very patient with me and never tried to upsell me on a single thing. In fact he told me my gutters will last for years, and there is no need to touch then for now. Again, very impressive and the opposite of what most sales pitch! My roof replacement went very smoothly, Blake was here early that morning to explain the whole process to me and what can be expected, even introduced me to the head installer. The crew was polite and very clean. Roof replacement is a messy job, but the team had someone cleaning ALL DAY, and rolled my yard MANY times with a magnet to catch any nails. The crew finished in the dark and they were even in my bushes with flashlights. They also blew the entire yard and deck upon completion. Blake was back out for the final inspection and again rolled the yard and walked the roof to triple check the job. Blake made the roof buying experience a pleasant one and I’d recommend Vertex to anyone whom asks!

When you plan on replacing a roof, siding or gutters, your needs are simply to find and employ a vendor who is competent. When a disaster, such as a hail storm necessitates replacement, you have expanded requirements and expectations.
In the past, I had a roof replaced where there was damage to personal property due to huge bundles of shingles being dropped on the roof decking. This worry resurfaced. In addition to past concerns, the hail storm damaged three skylights, two of which were custom 8 ft by 3 ft. Since the skylights were *** and *** no longer makes skylights, I needed support in finding a manufacturer that would provide the same quality. These are only a few examples of my particular special circumstances.
Mr. co-owner of Vertex, went beyond my expectations to alleviate my concerns. He personally removed art objects from shelves, and pictures from the walls. He researched companies providing custom skylights and supplied specifications from two top candidates. He guided me with insight concerning confusing print outs from my insurance company.
Vertex went beyond quality of workmanship. Vertex is a customer service model for friendly professional support. At all times, I was fully informed and work dates were always met. It is with great enthusiasm that I recommend Vertex Restoration.

I have worked extensively with a lot of contractors over the years, and this has been by far the best experience. We experienced hail damage this year and needed a total roof/ gutter replacement. Blake was extremely professional and polite when he first approached our house, after doing our neighbors. We decided to go with his company after he offered a very competitive rate and transparent billing. Within a week the roofing project was scheduled and when the threat of severe rain was expected I was immediately notified of the delay (2 days) for the project to begin. The roofing team was efficient, timely, and polite. I was very impressed with the ease of communication with Blake. Every time I had a question, I would e-mail him and he would respond within the hour. I have yet to find a single nail or errant piece of metal in the yard, the cleanup was brilliant. I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking to do any exterior work. It is so refreshing to find honest and kind people in this business.

Very positive experience dealing with Blake and his company. I evaluated 9 contractors both big and small for my roofing project and Blake of Vertex Restoration was the most responsive, knowledgeable and professional of all of them. Most importantly their pricing is extremely competitive plus they did not try to up-sell me anything I did not need. Beware of companies offering low-ball price quotes as there is always a hidden catch (e.g. licensing issues, no insurance, Revdex.com complaints etc.). The quality of work by Vetex is top notch, if you do not believe me just call the list of references they are more than willing to provide to confirm what I am saying. If you are going to have anything done to the exterior of your house do not take any chances and take the time to talk to the right contractors. Vertex Restoration should definitely be included on that list.
