Incompetent property management
The property managers and real estate agents do not communicate well or work to solve problems at all. Do not rent from them or list your property with them, especially if they are named Jamie Johnson or Mike Celaya. They simply make pathetic excuses and resolve nothing

This complaint was not filed by a marketplace consumer of Vertical Real Estate Services, Inc.  Instead, it was submitted by a disgruntled former corporate officer and broker of record for Vertical who was removed from those positions in April 2015.  The events surrounding the individual’s departure are the subject of an ongoing civil lawsuit filed by Vertical against the individual, a business partner, and the individual’s company.  The lawsuit, which is of public record and captioned Orange County Superior Court Case No. [redacted], seeks remedies for the complainant’s improper and illegal conduct while an officer of Vertical and after the individual’s departure, including misappropriation of contracts and wrongful interference.

As a result, the claims asserted in the Revdex.com complaint are clearly biased, inaccurate, and cannot be substantiated.  Given the litigation between the complainant and Vertical, the complaint appears to arise from the individual’s wish to falsely disparage Vertical in a public forum in order to damage its business.  It does not express legitimate service concerns, and the dispute with the complainant will be properly resolved in court.

To set the facts straight, Vertical has a clean record and an ethical reputation with consumers and regulatory agencies.  Its licensing information with California Department of Real Estate, which confirms Vertical’s good standing, can be found online at http://www2.dre.ca.gov/PublicASP/pplinfo.asp?License_id=01967295 (last visited June 2, 2015).  To Vertical’s knowledge all agents, vendors, and contractors have been properly paid for work performed on behalf of Vertical and its clients.  Vertical has no reason to exaggerate its business volumes or hide business conflicts, and it complies with industry standards in advertising.

Vertical takes very seriously any legitimate concern that a consumer, agent, contractor, or business associate may have with Vertical’s real estate business.  Therefore, Vertical always welcomes an immediate, direct, and open dialogue to resolve disputes to a consumer’s satisfaction.  Toward that end, further inquiries involving this complaint may be directed to myself at 949-276-4166.

Review: Vertical Real Estate Services, Inc. is falsely exaggerating its volume to consumers and is also making false statements to consumers. Vertical is not disclosing affiliated business arrangements to their consumers. Vertical is also contracting workers for services performed and then not fulfilling their contracts by not paying the contractors for the work that was done. They repeatedly hire vendors and contractors and then not pay them for work they perform. They have a reputation of breaching contracts and no regard for other peoples business and no regard for contracts they enter into with companies, vendors and individuals and no regard for how their non-payment affect other peoples companies. Vertical is doing business unethically with only their interests in mind. Vertical is holding unethically commissions to their agents and not paying them commissions they are due. Vertical has promised to pay commissions and then issued checks and placed stop payments on those checks. There are numerous complaints with the Department of Real Estate and with RESPA, and other entities pertaining to misconduct and other severe allegations. Vertical is not looking out for the behalf of their vendors, agents, contractors etc. and are advertising is being mis-represented by now using the name Vertical Real Estate Group which is not approved by the Department of Real Estate, their advertising is also not in compliance with Department of Real Estate compliance.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement for invoices owed and reimbursement for commissions owed to agents and brokers.
