Review: I dropped my car ([redacted]) off at this establishment on 4/29/14. Today is 6/13/14. The car is still not ready. They have given me a runaround for 6 weeks and 3 days. Car not expected to be done until "sometime next week". The head gasket is bad. They informed me that it would take a few days more on 5/5/14. They have told me that they ordered parts from out of state, sent parts to a "machine shop" to be repaired, and that the car now needs a 'valve job'. The total estimate for repairing the car have jumped from $2150.00 (on 5/13/14)and is now approximately $4200.00.The owner believes the car was dropped off on 5/13 because a 'ticket' wasn't completed on the car until that date. I have no idea what to do with this situation.Desired Settlement: I would like to raise awareness that this company is BAD. I would like a decent portion of the cost of repairs to be deducted due to me waiting nearly 7 weeks for this vehicle. I would like to have the car back as soon as possible. If labor is a large cost of this repair, then I should not be responsible for a 7 week repair window.

I spoke with the customer and this was a miscommunication. The job was more intense than we originally thought. The part had to be sent out numerous times in order for it to try to be repaired, we were trying to save the customer money and not buy a new cylinder head. We were in contact with him during the process and in the end we had no choice but to get a reman head. I explained the situation in full detail to the customer and he now feels better about the situation and understands the detail on why it has taken so long.
